I couldn't fault this place once. It was absolutely perfect for my dad and if I had to go into a home, I would choose this place. Every member of staff are amazing, tireless, dedicated, caring, proactive and did everything for my dad and me from the very beginning to the very end - they couldn't have done anything more and I can't thank them enough.
My mother-in-law became a resident mid-January and the care she has received from the staff at Lee Mount has been to a high standard. She has felt very safe and well looked after, settling in quickly in what was a very emotional time. The stimulation and activities are fantastic with such hard work and dedication by the staff. Updates are regular and any specific matters are discussed in a timely manner. A real family atmosphere. Highly recommend.
It was Mum's birthday in February, and the lengths they went to to make her day special was unbelievable. Due to all the Covid restrictions, times have been very difficult in care homes, but Lee Mount did everything they could to let us see our loved ones and kept us updated regularly when we couldn't. We all feel as a family that Mum is in the best place possible and have peace of mind she is receiving the best care ever. Thank you, Lee Mount.
My mother has been in their care for over twelve months now and the care she receives is excellent. The staff are very nice and they do everything you would expect from a care home. As it is a small care home compared to some I think the residents and family receive that more personal touch. Would recommend.
Mum is happy and also got back to a healthy weight instead of being under.
Thank you for your ongoing support and we appreciate you kind words.
Excellent service from all at lee mount, they look after my mum excellently and she really enjoys all the activities they do with the residents. Mum loves going out on little trips. The office/care staff are excellent at keeping me informed about what is happening with my mum.
Thank again
My mother has been at Lee Mount for three years and couldn't be better cared for. She is very happy, with plenty of social stimulation from activities and other residents. The care given by Lee Mount staff and management is outstanding. Any health concerns are quickly picked up and referred for diagnosis and treatment , and I am always kept fully informed. The home is very friendly and informal, with a family atmosphere. My mother was very independent on her own at home, but after a short term placement decided she wanted to stay, and has very happily done so ever since, which says it all, I think.
Thanks for your kind words we really do appreciate it. We try to do our best in anyway we can to make sure people using the service and their families are happy with the service we provide and all the specific things you have said has really made our day because its really captured what we try to...
The activities on offer are exceptional, and mum has really benefitted from them. She enjoys her meals and loves chatting to both members of staff and the other clients.
Lee mount has exceeded my expectations of a care home. She is treated like a family member. The staff are really lovely and really do care for each person.
Mum has improved during her stay, and I get updates each week on her progress and her photos on the social media website which reassures me of her welfare.
I am very pleased with Lee Mount and all the staff.
Thank you for your kind words it really is appreciated. It seems together we have been able to provide the best possible care for your mum.We are so happy to see your mum enjoying life at Lee Mount, its really been fantastic so far and we do really appreciate your valuable input which has been...
The management are transparent and share information or concerns on a regular basis. Regular contact with families is both valued and appreciated.
I cannot praise highly enough the management and staff teams at Leemount.
Thank you for your kind words we do really appreciate your feedback and taking the time to complete this review. We try our best to provide the best quality care possible and we love to get recognition for what we do for the people who live and work within the service. Thanks again and we really do appreciate all of your support and involvement with Lee Mount.
The staff were wonderful and do everything they can for our loved ones and their families too. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond in all aspects of care.
Unfortunately, we lost our dear dad in November and the care we received during those times was exemplary. Even now we have messages from the home checking on how we are all doing. They show support in so many ways. They did become part of our family and remain in our lives today.
Our dad was such a wonderful man and this was also recognised by all the staff at Lee Mount. Thank you all.
Despite the current restrictions, the staff are doing a fantastic job of arranging suitable activities to keep everybody entertained. It’s lovely to see the efforts they go to in order to find out what each resident enjoys and basing their birthday parties around these themes.
As a family, it’s also nice to feel like we are being kept in the loop. The frequent little updates are reassuring, along with the weekly overview on their Facebook page regarding what they have been up to as a whole. Their transparency is refreshing.
A massive thank you and well done to all the staff for their care and effort!
Absolutely recommend this place for the reasons that follow.
Genuinely caring staff that do their upmost to engage with all the residents and their families.
Management and staff are very transparent, they hide nothing, if ever there are problems within the home they don’t try to hide it, they record it to their database but I would say more importantly they inform us as families of the residents.
They have managed COVID in the best way they possibly could, always following government guidelines alongside using their own initiative for the well-being of their residents and their families.
Contacting families and asking about how they are feeling.
What more could we ask for from strangers that suddenly become part of our family?
Absolutely recommend!
Wonderful staff who take great care of my aunt. Top staff, top management and top care home. Thank you for everything you have done for my aunt and also a big thank you for the time you spend talking to my uncle on the phone making sure he is ok too.
My mother has been a resident for almost two years and couldn't be happier. The staff go above and beyond to promote the residents' health and wellbeing in a very social environment with a family dynamic at its heart. The service keeps me very closely in touch and in such difficult times, I can't praise it enough.
We couldn't have wished for a better home for our dad. The service, care, friendliness and fantastic staff. We know Dad was happy and looked after and we were kept informed at all times. Dad ate well and was always clean and tidy. The staff really did go over the top in their care and duty to Dad and us his family. Dad has sadly passed away now but the home still contacts us to see how we are doing, a million thanks to them.
My mum has been at Lee Mount tor 12 months now. We were all made to feel very welcome from the start. The staff are all wonderful and make me feel like they really do care about my mum and the management take the time to find out about how we are feeling too.
Lee Mount are fantastic, the care they give my mother is outstanding, I have the utmost respect for all the staff and management in offering the best support for my mum! They hold entertainment and host birthday parties for their residents. And the way they have acted during the pandemic is to be admired!
A very dear friend, who lived on her own, had been very ill for a couple of years and deteriorated rapidly after a major operation. Both her sons lived away and it was difficult for them to monitor her health and well being. After a long spell in hospital, it was decided the best way forward was to go into Residential Care. She was placed in Lee Mount and staff visited her in hospital before she was taken there. My friend settled extremely well into Lee Mount and told me the care was second to none. She is happy and feels safe. The staff are extremely kind, caring and supportive. They took time to talk and find out about my friends interests. They encouraged and supported her in developing the garden and planting hanging baskets with other residents and thus improved the outdoor provision. The general provision throughout the home has improved in the few months my friend has been there and further improvements are planned. I visit her frequently and am always welcomed.
I could not have wished for a better outcome for my Mum. She is really settled at Lee Mount. The staff are fantastic. It’s been hard watching my Mum deteriorate suffering from dementia. We had no idea what to expect. Thanks to the team for all their reassurance, invaluable knowledge and support not only to my Mum but to my family as well.
Since my Aunt had been resident, there have been many improvements. It has always been caring and respectful to all residents. The home has undertaken many improvements for the safety and comfort of the residents plus general decorating etc. The staff are knowledgeable and take on board requests for medical care, or suggestions for social care. Recently there has been a great effort to introduce more social activities of all kinds, within and outside the home. Residents are encouraged to participate to their own level of interest and abilities. The staff go above and beyond their duties. I have always found the home to be clean and tidy, even through some major improvement work. I am impressed by the fact that I am notified immediately of anything of concern, informed regularly whether I visit or not. The kitchen has a varied menu with food choices for the individual taste. Nothing is too much trouble. The senior staff especially are aware of everything that is taking place at any time.

Meet the Team (5)

My parents owned a struggling care home for 15 years. I joined 8 years ago with no experience to help turn it around.
I fell in love with the work and built great relationships with residents and coworkers. Leading the service allowed me to use my creative skills and contributed to our success. It’s been the best decision of my life

I was looking after my mum and this made me want to care for others. I was also interested in mental health nursing. At Lee Mount we provide EMI care, this would have been a stepping stone in that direction, but since being here I’ve not looked back.

I’m naturally a very caring person, I also want to contribute to the client's quality of life and specifically be part of improvements to their well-being positively. I always want the residents and relatives to feel supported, I enjoy being able to do this and build positive relationships

At the time it was a job I was young, I stuck at it because I enjoy ensuring that I can keep supporting people with their independence and I also learnt that I enjoy providing good end-of-life care.

I work in care because I’ve always needed to help others and improve their quality of life, I like to see the difference I’m making and make new friends and relationships. My work family are like a second family to me.
