I would be happy to recommend Springfield Care Home.

Very happy with the care my mum gets.

I first took my wife to look around for respite in July 2023 when arriving we were greeted with warm welcome were shown around with nothing hidden any question's asked were answered straight away nothing hidden. My wife stayed their for 2 wks respite but never came home, she is still in there being looked after by very caring staff, I can also go for a meal with my wife I eat what they get as long as I let management know, would recommend to anyone.

I would just like to thank all the staff for taking care of us like they do. The home is kept lovely and clean. The food is good. If you have any problems, you can always rely on someone there for you. all the years I have met some lovely people, carers and residents, so I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone. The staff & carers at Springfield are a credit to the "company". My sister is settled, & happy which makes "us" happy too. "Thank You"

Cannot compliment the staff enough. They have been so kind, helpful and generally genuine good people. They care not only for my mum but also the family. They are all terrific.

Onsite parking for visitors is sparse, often unavailable at times.

Having considered a number of different care homes for my mum, Springfield came out on top by quite a way. All areas are clean + fresh smelling, furniture is of a decent quality. All rooms are en-suite which is unusual in our experience. Mostly we were impressed by the warm + caring staff & seeing residents who were settled & happy. There are a variety of activities to opt into if residents wish - always in control of their day.

I feel that he is well cared for, well fed and his needs are very well met. I can relax knowing he is in good, safe hands.

Mum was at Springfield for 5 months, initially for respite then as a resident. Springfield took great care of mum when she with them, and I didn't have any worries about her being there. She found it hard to settle at first having come from home, being very confused and she wasn't always easy to care for, but the staff were all very kind and mum did settle after about 2-3 months. The home is immaculately clean - whenever I went in mum's room it smelled lovely and fresh and her clothes etc were always clean. All the staff from reception, management and carers were lovely. They even found mum's wedding ring and kept it safe not knowing who it belonged to. She made some friends while she was there. We wanted mum to stay at Springfield but unfortunately due to council funding issues this was not possible and we had to move her, which made us and her very sad. Thank you Springfield

After having to make a decision to find the right home for someone you love is a terribly hard decision. After having seen 2 homes we were not impressed. We had heard about Springfield and thought we would contact them. On Julie, Jamie meeting myself at the hospital, I knew they seemed genuinely caring and on visiting the home we had no hesitation. The care and love our friend got was above and beyond and on visiting him we new he was happy. It was home from home, in which we wanted and couldn't of asked for more.

This place was definitely home from home. When every visit my wife and I were always made welcome by staff and got a drink, biscuits. Our friend and other residents were always happy, Just to mention some staff, Steph, Alex, Sharon, who were amazing with our friend, Katiee, Karon housekeepers who went above and beyond there duties. A big thank you to all the staff. Would not hesitate to recommend. And a big thank you to all on reception, Debbie, Maude, Mitchell.

Warm, clean care home with plenty of access to a continued rear garden. An active and competent wellbeing team who provide plenty of activities. The best asset for me, though, has got to be the caring staff. Friendly, approachable and caring/compassionate. They know the residents by name and do show actual care for them, unlike the agency staff sometimes seen in these homes. I'm so glad we placed mum here. Her mental wellbeing has improved so much.

Mum almost didn't want to come home and will be returning to the home for two weeks in May.

Our mum sadly passed away 2 weeks ago but being at the care home made it slightly easier to deal with. The care home staff have been amazing from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for them at anytime. In a way I will miss not seeing the staff every week and having our laughs and banter together. Some of the staff even attended mums funeral to say there goodbye !

My Gran has spent her 99th and last year at Springfield in the dementia unit on the top floor and sadly passed away peacefully in their care last week. Over the year we have met all the carers, managers, and support staff, and every time we have been greeted with caring, happy, considerate people who have made us feel welcome and supported us when Gran had increasing dementia and other challenges. Gran, a fiercely independent lady struggled with leaving her home but over the year settled and said how lovely it was and how kind and nice everyone was, which meant we could all get some sleep. I was especially grateful for being able to bring my little cockerpoos in to visit great grandma, which when gran remembered very little, she enjoyed them. I will also be eternally grateful for the consideration shown after the carers said they would provide palliative care so Gran now unconscious did not need to go to hospital and could stay with people's voices she had gotten used to. Thank you so much.

Mum had been in the hospital with Alzheimer's prior to moving into Springfield Care Home in March 2024. We wanted to care for Mum but circumstances meant that her needs could no longer be met at home. We were anxious about Mum moving into care but we can honestly say that we felt all of Mum's needs were met at Springfield. All the staff were kind, warm and understanding. The food was good and cleaning was always to a high standard. Mum was only a resident for a short amount of time because sadly she passed away in August. If you are considering a member of your family moving into Springfield, I can highly recommend it.

Overall I am happy with the care my mother receives. I believe the standards have risen since the new manager came into the post in 2023. Most of the staff (and others including hospitality and cleaners) are lovely, though I have been disappointed on a few occasions, not recently. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming. Communication with me is good. I am confident my mum is safe and her needs are being met.

Mum is so happy since moving in only a few weeks ago. Her words are it’s like a posh hotel and the food and service are fantastic. I was really nervous moving Mum with Alzheimer’s into a home, but I needn’t have worried, all the staff are fantastic and have been fantastic with Mum. The place is always spotless and the care they show the residents is first-class. There are lots of activities every day and all the staff go out of their way to make the residents happy and well cared for. I am so glad that Mum will spend the rest of her days here and she is now happy, safe and enjoying her final days. Thank you Springfield for making Mum happy again.

I would highly recommend them to any family who needs additional care or support with a loved one. Well done to every person who plays a part in this home making it the place it is and letting my mother have some quality of life back and enjoyment.
