Cedar Grange is a Cherry Burton care home set in picturesque grounds in a tranquil area that suits the needs of those requiring elderly care, as well as with physical disabilities and/or dementia.

An eighteenth-century listed building, Cedar Grange has been purposely converted into a care accommodation in which residents can achieve a relaxing lifestyle and a good sense of personal independence.

Cedar Grange prides itself on a warm friendly atmosphere, where the residents become part of the family.

To the rear of the main building sits The Lodge, an 8 bedroom purpose built environment which is designed to provide accommodation and care to those with greater mobility and independence.

The staff have a wonderful ethos of compassion and professionalism. The residents look cared for, are treated with dignity and every effort is made to personalised care. During the lockdown, they have patients and consideration. I cannot praise them too highly! Plus the quality of the food (especially
the scones) is excellent.

I cannot express how happy I am that I made the find of the Cedar Grange. My mum has settled into life at Cedar Grange and sees it as home after been in for six weeks, every member of staff from management down to housekeeping and the handyman show my mum the utmost respect and are all so very friendly.
I feel truly blessed that my mum has a place in such a family-oriented care home. I am always telling everybody how wonderful life is at Cedar Granger. Thank you to all.

The home takes really good care of my mum, she is 101, so they take extra time with her. She has been here 6-years and is very happy and well. She is always very clean and well kept, her hair combed.

My mother-in-law is extremely comfortable content and safe at Cedar Grange. The home feels instantly warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the staff and carers. The staff should be far better paid for the fantastic care they give (not that they mention this ever) it is how our family
feel.

My mum was in hospital where she broke her hip and went to Cedar grange for respite the day before it closed to visitors. She settled in very quickly and has made many friends. She tells me on the phone about the activities about the care from the staff and how kind they are. We have a very open relationship
with the staff and have found them really accommodating. Most importantly is my mum's opinion of the home "it's like a hotel, the staff will do anything for me, they are so kind".

I have been incredibly impressed with Cedar Grange and it has given me great peace of mind knowing my Dad is now so well cared for. The environment is clean, bright and well kept. The food always smells and looks appetising and it's fabulous that freshly made cream buns/desserts are offered as well
as proper fish and chips on a Friday. Each and every staff member I've met has treated my Dad with kindness and dignity and they don't seem to be able to do enough for him. I have always felt welcomed and offered a drink, staff making themselves available for any queries. All of Dad's needs are extremely well met and excellent care.

I've only been here five days but from the day I entered Cedar Grange, it has been HOME. Everything is A1. Staff can't do enough and are so pleasant, it's a joy to be with them. I'm so looked after and I'm thankful I came to join them. Thank you, everyone.

My mum has struggled at first to settle and I know she can't have been the easiest person to deal with, but the staff were all so patient with her and she has finally settled in.
She is in the annexe which is perfect as she is not ready for complete care.
The only thing she complains about is the
lack of activities but she is aware she can join in, in the main house, so this is her own choice.
It is always difficult putting a parent in a home but the staff and management have all been wonderful.

The care given on the whole is good. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Communication with relatives is informative and given the age of the building the facilities are satisfactory, though my uncle's room is rather small and dark and the bathroom is dismal. The outlook from his window is pleasing. The

Mother was admitted to the care home by a recommendation of social services. She had been diagnosed as suffering from severe dementia. The care staff were very welcoming and supportive. They have the patience to deal with the varying demands of behaviour and mood swings. The care home has been converted
from a vicarage to a very sympathetic set of private and common rooms.

The staff show great empathy towards my mother. The hygiene is excellent, the food is excellent and staff are wonderful. It is so heartwarming to find such people. Its like one family working with one aim to make the clients as happy and comfortable as possible. I drop in always unannounced and everything
is always spot on. The atmosphere is always welcoming. My mother is difficult to deal with but the staff calm her down and are very clever at helping her always with care and compassion.
