My Father is a resident at the home and is very content and happy with his lot at the home he’s had some health issues but the staff are excellent and very supportive and due to the care and support from everyone he is now looking much healthier. Amazingly he is putting a bit of weight on as he is enjoying his food, which is due to the quality and variety provided by the new staff and management. I would like to thank all the staff and especially the management for making a huge difference to Dad’s health and welfare.

My dad has been living at Cedar Grange for over a year now and has settled in extremely well. He has just been moved to a bigger bedroom which has a great view over the garden and has been decorated to a high standard which was really nice of the home manager to organise.
I always get a warm welcome from the staff, they are very friendly and polite. The care my dad receives is great and he enjoys the home cooking the kitchen provides, the mini jam and cream scones looked amazing!

Thank you to the staff and management for all you do.

My grandad has been at Cedar Grange Care Home for over a year now and has settled in nicely with the help of their lovely staff.
The home is set in beautiful, wooded gardens.
There is always a warm welcome awaiting you from the staff and management team when you arrive and nothing is too much trouble.

My grandad loves the food and variety offered, there is a new activities coordinator who has just joined the team.

I was really pleased after visiting my mam in Cedar Grange as she has just been placed there, I was worried that she would not settle as my mam is quite a shy person, but after my visit, I felt confident that my mam was well cared for, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff have done an amazing job, and my mam seems happy, which gives me peace of mind.

My sister is very happy and always says how good the food is. She enjoys banter with others, and I feel she is very well cared for and safe. She looks well-groomed and comfortable and enjoys having her hair done regularly at the home.

The staff have a wonderful ethos of compassion and professionalism. The residents look cared for, are treated with dignity and every effort is made to personalised care. During the lockdown, they have patients and consideration. I cannot praise them too highly! Plus the quality of the food (especially the scones) is excellent.

The home takes really good care of my mum, she is 101, so they take extra time with her. She has been here 6-years and is very happy and well. She is always very clean and well kept, her hair combed.

My mother-in-law is extremely comfortable content and safe at Cedar Grange. The home feels instantly warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the staff and carers. The staff should be far better paid for the fantastic care they give (not that they mention this ever) it is how our family feel.

My mum was in hospital where she broke her hip and went to Cedar grange for respite the day before it closed to visitors. She settled in very quickly and has made many friends. She tells me on the phone about the activities about the care from the staff and how kind they are. We have a very open relationship with the staff and have found them really accommodating. Most importantly is my mum's opinion of the home "it's like a hotel, the staff will do anything for me, they are so kind".

I have been incredibly impressed with Cedar Grange and it has given me great peace of mind knowing my Dad is now so well cared for. The environment is clean, bright and well kept. The food always smells and looks appetising and it's fabulous that freshly made cream buns/desserts are offered as well as proper fish and chips on a Friday. Each and every staff member I've met has treated my Dad with kindness and dignity and they don't seem to be able to do enough for him. I have always felt welcomed and offered a drink, staff making themselves available for any queries. All of Dad's needs are extremely well met and excellent care.

The care given on the whole is good. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Communication with relatives is informative and given the age of the building the facilities are satisfactory, though my uncle's room is rather small and dark and the bathroom is dismal. The outlook from his window is pleasing. The financial arrangements are communicated concisely and accurately.

My mum has struggled at first to settle and I know she can't have been the easiest person to deal with, but the staff were all so patient with her and she has finally settled in.
She is in the annexe which is perfect as she is not ready for complete care.
The only thing she complains about is the lack of activities but she is aware she can join in, in the main house, so this is her own choice.

It is always difficult putting a parent in a home but the staff and management have all been wonderful.
