I feel very satisfied that he is well cared for whilst living there. It gives me peace of mind knowing he gets the care he needs. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

His health has improved and he is more able to get around now. He is a bit confused but knowing the staff are aware of his needs is peace of mind for us and we are only a phone call away. For those who want to join in there is always something to do.

100% confidence in all aspects of the care home, very confident that my mother receives complete attention from all staff employed or otherwise engaged with the care home. I am informed immediately of any concerns regarding my mother health status and know that any issues are being resolved immediately and reported in the care plan. Our mum is completely settled here, her needs are discussed regularly. We feel she is in a safe environment, all staff are respectful of the residents. The home is lovely and clean as are the bedrooms, plenty of activities going on for the residents too. Food menu is on display and alternatives in case it's not to everyone liking.

Very impressed overall with the facilities and staff at Hamshaw Court. My mum had to be moved from previous home in December 2023 and we were concerned that conditions/care etc would not be matching previous, but in fact they exceed expectations.

The only reason I gave 4 stars for value for money as a private payee it costs 200 more a week which seems a lot but that is definitely not the staff's fault.

My mum is a resident at Hamshaw Court. She is bed bound and at first we thought she was at the end of her life however the care that this home has given to me has been fantastic and she has become stronger giving us extra time to enjoy with her. All the staff are great, any concerns are always dealt with however there are 2 female staff that go in and talk to my mum, they give her (and Winston mum's teddy), a drink and breakfast etc. I have to say that these two deserve massive praise for the way that they are! My mum can be quite unresponsive at times but when they walk in the room she seems to liven up, she laughs and smiles and it warms me! The way they interact with her is amazing. They take the time to talk to us also and genuinely come across as though they go that extra mile! I don't see too much more of the other staff as I can only travel to the area once a month but if these two are anything to go by then I'd definitely give this home and all their staff a 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10.

All the staff at Hamshaw Court are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, they are always on hand when needed. Office staff could not be any more helpful. Hamshaw Court is always clean and fresh at all times. My mother is a full resident and I have never seen her as happy as she is. To all at Hamshaw Court a big thank you.

What a lovely care home. The staff are so lovely, and nothing is too much trouble. My mum is so relaxed here and has taken to all of the staff members really well. It's been such a relief to know my mum is getting the help and care she needs. A big massive Thankyou to all the hard-working staff for caring so much!

Staff are very useful and caring, can't do enough for my dad. Since my dad has come into the home, he has come on so much. The room he is staying in is clean and kept tidy at all times. The staff are doing a great job of looking after my dad.

Mum has gone into Hamshaw Court for respite from hospital. From entering the building she has had genuine care, respect and warmth from all of the staff we have met. They have all gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and we feel safe in the knowledge of knowing she is being very well looked after. Thank you from us.

When you arrive at the home, all the staff you meet say good morning and give a lovely smile.

My Dad was at Hamshaw Court for well over a year until he passed away at the end of 2022. Dad was always looked after with utmost care, dignity and respect whilst he was there. He was helped to be safe and feel calm and comfortable whilst going through his final year suffering from a complex dementia which made him anything but. The communication from all staff to family and medical parties involved was excellent from care plans, day to day activities and changes, to end of life care.

The food is excellent and prepared fresh on-site. It is reassuring to know that my mother-in-law is well cared for in a home from home.

The management team have been so helpful and approachable. The staff seem to enjoy their work and are always friendly. Our relative has settled in very well, which is reassuring for the family. The building itself is light and airy and well set out for the needs of the residents.

The staff are very polite and friendly.
