Queens Meadow is a beautiful purpose built care home boasting the ambiance of modern day style with old world charm and sophistication.

Carers offer residents and their families the support they need during what many find some of the most trying times of their lives. Families are truly grateful for the personal support they receive, when faced with one of life's very difficult decisions and the team pride themselves on continuing that support to residents and their families from the moment they contact the home throughout the whole of their stay and beyond.

The approach to care is simple - look after the person and not the ailment/condition alone - Carers want to get to know their residents and their families, thus enabling them to look after the whole person and not just to concentrate on the task in hand. Staff get to know their clients, who they are, who they were and how they have come to be at the home. Carers get to know their families too and like to understand the dynamics within the family setting and how best they can support these as they build a relationship of trust. They understand that choosing a care home is not just about excellent amenities, but about a true and real understanding of relationships being nurtured, trust being built and a life being lived. it is always a pleasure to come as my grandma always gets treated lovely. The staff always do their best and push themselves to the limit to help my grandma here. The staff are lovely and treat you lovely. I would recommend this place to others as it is a lovely place to be.

My mam has settled into this home very easily, that is all down to the staff and care she receives from all the helpful and friendly staff in here. It is a blessing knowing she is looked after when I or the rest of my family can't get here. Thank you all.

Mam has been made to feel very welcome. Mam only came in for respite but has decided to stay and give up her bungalow. Staff are so friendly and all have a lovely caring way. Sometimes the food is a little below standard and perhaps a big choice should be made available. When we visit we are always
greeted as friends which is lovely.

My mother has been resident here at this care home for one year now. She has dementia with no capacity and is unable to walk. All the staff are very caring and look after my mam and her needs very well. My mam has settled in very well. After a difficult start the staff are very helpful to both my mother
and me. They all do a very good job and deserve the praise I am bestowing upon them. I would recommend Queens Meadow to everyone looking for somewhere for a relative.

She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Rachael uses her experience to motivate the team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Rachael said, “The Residents, the people. Hearing laughter in the home and supporting Residents to fulfil their hopes and dreams. Everything is possible with the right love and support behind you.”
