My friend Vera, says she likes being at Queens Meadow and regards it as her home now. So I see this as a very good recommendation of the home.

I have always found the staff to be caring, friendly and supportive to my mam. Nothing is to much trouble for them. There is always something going on for the residents to enjoy or an activity to participate in.

My mum moved in to the home Feb 2026, in a newly decorated room, filled with her own furniture and surrounded by family photographs,
mum says she is comfy in her room it is lovely homely warm room, the only thing is mum says the food could do with it been a little hotter!

Mum says the staff in her words are all good, and some more than others go the extra mile

Mam was made to feel very welcome when we arrived. She was very pleased with her room it has everything that she needs. She likes the fact that the toilet and sink is in it's own little room. She loves the view onto the garden.

I have been coming to this care home many years to visit relatives and I am still very pleased with the care they receive. The staff, that is all staff, are very pleasant and helpful and easy to talk too.
The care they provide is personal, thoughtful and with out question, excellent.
The management, both local and other wise, are doing a good job and should be proud of there achievements'.

A big thank you is deserved for the care home staff.

Staff are always friendly and energetic. They communicate and treat residents with respect and kindness, and keep a sense of humour whilst caring for all residents. They show and demonstrate compassion, with residents and family members when needed. The home itself is clean, warm and homely. I would like to see more activities. However staff do try to organise stimulating environments but they do have limited time due to workload. It would be good to have members of staff designated to organise activities and entertainment.

We visited a friend for the first time after she entered the home. On arrival, we were impressed at the overall cleanliness, staff attitude (nothing seemed to be a problem to them) and, from first arriving, we were quickly guided to our friend. In conclusion - top marks!

I can't thank the care home enough, since my grandmother was moved to Queens Meadow Care Home, they have looked after her so well, ensured she has had all she needed and encouraged some independence and social integration with other residents again. They have also been a massive support and listening ear to the family and that has meant more to us than I can ever describe.

Thank you so much to all the staff.

The manager is one of the most professional and caring people I have met. She shows great leadership skills to the staff here, who have a great deal of respect for her. I leave my husband knowing he is getting 5-star treatment.

Thank you to everyone, would recommend to anyone.
