The kindness, and the patience all the staff show to the residents, and the families are beyond compare. It's been a difficult journey having my husband in care, but he genuinely, genuinely couldn't be in a better place. The open door policy to the management shows just how much they care about the residents. Any questions or worries I have had have been handled with understanding, respect and kindness. I highly recommend this care home.
Medication is correct and on time. All staff are so helpful, kind, and go above and beyond. Really caring, spend time with you, keep you smiling. Food is good, and they get residents involved in activities. Clean and tidy, could do with new bedroom furniture. Compared to the previous home, this is exceptional care. Make the family feel welcome, nothing is a problem; they are always there to help.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We really appreciate it. It means so much to us to know that you are beyond satisfied with the care your husband is receiving, it is a pleasure to have him residing with us.
I can't speak highly enough of the care our grandparents have received. My grandad is in the dementia ward and it's clear he's treated with genuine kindness and respect. My grandma has also recently come in for a short respite stay and the level of care has been equally impressive. It's a real comfort to my family knowing they're both in such safe hands! I can see why the CQC gave a 5* rating for Care - it's very well deserved.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. We really appreciate your kind words, and it is amazing to know that our hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Here at Stainton Way we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality, person-centred care. It is a pleasure to look after your lovely grandparents.
My mother loves it in this home and has been a resident for over 4yrs.
Well cared for and nothing is any trouble for the staff.
5 star excellent

Could not fault the staff enough, the most caring people you could ask for, can't do enough for you and nothing is ever too much. The facilities are outstanding and the best that you could ask for. The most amazing people and place

Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate it. We are happy to know that our hard work does not go unnoticed.
As a family we could not be happier with the care mum is getting at this care home. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Our only negative comment is that the activities are a little childish and repetative. Whilst we appreciate that some residents have dementia, they are still adults.
Thank you for your kind words Barbara, we are really pleased to hear that you are happy with mum's care. With regards to the activities schedule, we will continue to work with our activities coordinators to cater our activities to all residents, please feel free to pass on any suggestions you may like to see implemented, we would be really grateful for them.
My Dad has been at Stainton Way Care Home for almost 2 years. He is happy and feels safe which gives me so much peace of mind. I love to see that smile on his face when members of staff talk to him (he does have his favourites). It's clear that the staff genuinely care for all the residents it's not just a job it's a vocation. The activities coordinator are brilliant too organising games, coffee morning and much more. It is all clean and tidy and a pleasant relaxing environment. As a family, we feel so blessed to have my Dad live here and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Stainton for their hard work and dedication.
Stainton Way Care Home have provided a caring stable environment for my Mother to live the most contented life she has had in years! She is well fed clean and tidy, and the staff are very proactive with all Mum's needs. They communicate well with family members and dialogue with the doctor on a very proactive basis. I have been so happy to be able to get the appropriate care for my Mum, the staff are lovely.
Overall, an excellent care home. My husband is a quiet man with complex needs, and he has had a few issues with needs, all resolved. His health has been up and down but the care he receives is marvellous. Slowly he is being encouraged to mix, but prefers to talk to staff, who do converse with him. They really care.

Mum has been in the home for a couple of months now, and my sister and I have found all the staff extremely welcoming and professional. Mum seems much more settled in the home compared to her previous home.
I find the home very good, clean and caring. All the girls take good care of me and my needs very well and professionally, always.

I find the home is very welcoming, warm, friendly and very informative. They all treat my mum and all residents with the utmost respect and care, even the most challenging behaviour (my mother) included. The staff are warm and friendly and take care to get to know residents and families and their likes and dislikes. I know I can go home or away and know she is well cared for and looked after. I thank you all for the hard work you all put in.

My father has settled very well into Stainton Way. The staff are very caring and have made him really welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they set a very high standard of care. They treat Dad with dignity and respect and are always available to talk things through. They are proactive when support is needed and keep the family informed. They have very good relations with the local GP surgery, who respond quickly to any concerns. Dad enjoys football on tv, and the staff makes sure his tv is on the right channel in time for the match. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stainton Way.

Friendly, caring and welcoming - they gave me so much peace of mind that my mum was being looked after as well as I could have done.
Can't begin to thank you enough.
Fully recommended - my mum said every day how lovely everyone was and how they looked after her.
Thank you.

Mum was struggling in the community, and I was anxious about her having to go into a care home, but when we arrived, everyone was smiling and thoughtful. They continue to be a friend and advocate, and Mum wants for nothing, and most importantly, it feels like home.
My experience has been good overall. The staff present as being caring and supportive of my dad. Unfortunately, my dad was admitted shortly before lockdown making his first months really challenging for him, family and staff. The staff I feel have dealt with this crisis professionally, with care and dignity. The staff have maintained communication and appear to have responded proactively to my dad's health needs. My observation of one staff's interaction with my dad and other residents has been reassuringly positive, calm, caring and give the feeling that they care for the residents on a practical and emotional basis.
From the senior management and admin team, to the senior carers, carers and cleaners, all the staff have been fantastic.
They have worked tirelessly with my mum to ensure that she settles well and has a suitable routine that works well.
All the staff are friendly, approachable and most importantly are passionate about taking care of the residents.
Nothing is too much trouble and they all provide great support and company for my mum.
When my mum has been unwell, they have provided extremely attentive care ensuring the best possible treatment for her.
All the other residents appear very happy and settled and enjoy being there.
I have such great peace of mind knowing that the team at Stainton Way are looking after my mum.
Overall it is a care home that is a pleasure to visit because of the team of staff who work hard to give the best possible care to their family of residents.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The team work very hard to be the best we can, so to receive kind comments and see the residents happy and well is the best reward we can be given.
Very satisfied with the care etc but the major problem is insufficient car parking/no disabled car parking - issues which need to be addressed with some urgency.
The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and had a clear understanding of the requirements for care.
Overall, more than satisfied with the staff, home and service.
