My mum came from a hospital in another county in December 2020 and the manager of Clarendon Grange was extremely supportive at a very difficult time. In the short time my mum has been at Clarendon Grange she has gained weight and often comments to me on the lovely food. The staff have made her feel
welcome and take good care of her. I visited Mum today and she had just had her hair done by a member of staff and looked lovely. Difficult to comment on facilities and activities with Covid restrictions.

The care home is really good, the staff are so lovely and welcoming, always there to help and they are extremely wonderful with the residents.

Moved my relative here from another care home in Workington. This home provides excellent care, treating everyone with respect and dignity. The home is homely, cosy and beautiful throughout. The staff are all friendly and provide excellent care, catering to all residents' care needs. The management
team keep you informed of any issues that may occur with your relatives. They provide a fantastic service. Always welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and homemade. The whole team make this care home very welcoming and lovely.

I am more than satisfied with Clarendon Grange Care Home we have moved my cousin from another care home because they could not meet his needs and he was unkept and dirty. We moved him to Clarendon Grange and we are over the moon with the care in this home it is over and above the standards of any care

My mother was a resident in Clarendon for 25 months until she passed away. During her stay, the family found the love, care and attention she received was excellent and gave the family peace of mind because she was very happy and contented during her time with you.

This care home is the loveliest, my husband and I visited the area. The place was spotless, and I think, more importantly, it has a great atmosphere. The residents are always smiling and the staff are extremely kind and are always there to help.

My mother entered Clarendon Grange in 4/2016 after a fall following which, she realised it was no longer possible to take care of her own needs. The home was selected as a result of reputation in the local community and recommendations.
The strength of the home lies in the staff, predominantly local
people, who combine a sense of humour with a caring approach towards all residents. Consequently, there is a good atmosphere, also supported by a range of activities to keep the residents motivated.
My mother is secure, comfortable and well cared for - which is exactly the comfort any family needs when a relative requires support in the community.

My mum was always against going into a care home, but sadly she realised that she could no longer take care of herself and needed constant care. What a transformation, my mum is now happy, safe, warm and well provided for. The constant attention and care given by all the staff has given my mum her confidence

My mother was lonely at home, she suffered various falls and infections, in and out of hospital, she had given up. She was given a room at Clarendon on discharge from hospital mid-September 2019. The vast improvement in both her mental and physical health is extraordinary in such a short space of time.
Mam is very happy, cared for in a friendly, comfortable home with great, exceptional staff and residents. Myself and the rest of the family are so pleased she is there to enjoy the rest of her life in comfort and care.

My mum was very frail when she arrived at Clarendon. She has been extremely well cared for and has gained 2 stone to make her a healthy weight. I have found the staff very caring and sensitive to mum's needs. I have been visiting when there has been entertainment and there is always something happening
to keep her entertained.

My dad has settled into Clarendon Grange Care Home really well.
The staff encourage him to maintain his independence whilst encouraging to socialise. The staff treat him with respect and dignity. They recognise changes in him and recently need to summon emergency help. They recognise that dad was suffering
from sepsis and with prompt recognition, he was transported to hospital and received medication within an hour! The home then actively participated in discharge planning and dad was able to return within 5 days.

I have always found this home to be very clean, the care given is also very good. All the staff are pleasant and helpful.

My Dad came to the home in January and from the start, he was made welcome and cared for.
He took a little time to settle in but now he is happy and content.
All the staff are very caring and professional. The home is well organised and spotlessly clean.
It has a beautiful garden and in summer a
stunning flower display.
The food is excellent and he always has a choice
His room is always clean and tidy as is his en-suite toilet.

My mum was in this care home for a couple of years and sadly died there a few weeks ago. The care she had there when she was alive was next to none and her end of life was managed with sensitivity and peace. I would highly recommend this care home and would be extremely happy if I ended my days there.
