I have really enjoyed my stay at Pexton Grange. I was a little wary at first but after the first couple of days I felt so relaxed and comofrtable. The staff are friendly and will do anything for you. The food is a lot better than I expected. If I were forced to stay in a care home for the rest of my life, I would choose Pexton Grange.

I find Eastcroft to be a warm, welcoming home from home. The lovely staff, who treat everyone with kindness and respect, are always on hand to help and assist. It is a safe, happy environment set in beautiful grounds. Residents can often be found sat out front in the sun, by the water fountain, ice cream in hand. Like many people, I never thought I would have a parent that ended up in a care home but I am forever grateful that it turned out to be Eastcroft.

Review of East Croft Grange from E B (Sister-in-law of Resident) published on 1 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card

Eastcroft Grange provides a very welcoming environment as soon as you enter the front door. The staff are caring and courteous, whatever their grades. The meals provided are varied, tasty and much enjoyed. I am always offered as a visitor a refreshment to enjoy a cuppa with my relative, normality. The residents are treated with respect, and lovely to see them mingling, whatever their limitations are. It is a pleasure to visit Eastcroft and leave knowing my relative is in a safe, caring home. Well done, one and all at Eastcroft.

Overall Pexton Grange is a very well-run and kept place to be. The staff were very welcoming and caring, and nothing was too much trouble at any time of day. All the rooms were kept well cleaned every day there were lots of activities if you wanted to join in. The only complaint I have is the food was not always to a good standard. I was once served a burger that you could not bite into!!! The hospital food was a far higher quality.

Here for rehabilitation after operation. Staff have been very obliging and most have been cheerful. Meals were not all to my taste, but those that were were substantial. More fruit on offer would have been welcomed.

Review of East Croft Grange from Lisa M (Niece of Resident) published on 13 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My uncle went for emergency respite to east croft and from the moment we called they couldnt do enough to help. The process of admission was made easy and well explained. Extending was never an issue and each time we popped in my uncle was immaculately turned out and happy.

Having extended his respite my uncle sadly passed away in the home, the care given to him and us at this time has been exceptional.

It was obvious he was treated with genuine care and compassion and as an individual.

As a family we will never be able to explain how much comfort it brought us knowing he spent what turned out to be his last few weeks in such warm and caring surroundings, supported by staff who openly cared.

I would have no hesitation in recommending east croft to anybody and its a credit to the staff who all work there.

Review of East Croft Grange from Sarah P (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 February 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I found all staff to be extremely friendly, engaging and responsive to requests. During my father's fortnight respite residency, he was shown care and attention at all times and a determined effort to make him feel comfortable in his new environment. I had every confidence that all his personal needs and medication requirements were undertaken efficiently and diligently. In that fortnight, it personally gave me a calming peace of mind that he was in exactly the right place for his needs, and he came out a much stronger and healthier individual - all our hoped for expectations and outcomes were achieved for him. Deeply grateful to all care staff.

My husband lived at ECG for almost two years. He had Alzheimer's and was very active. He was allowed the freedom to make it his home. The staff were his family and treated him with dignity, smiles and gentle care if he was difficult. A very professional team. Our family were allowed to visit any time and always made welcome. The garden in summer was important, a nice social space. The dedicated nursing team who looked after him (and me) the weekend he died was incredible.
