I have 2 parents in Holly Bank mum first has dementia. She loves the views and says the staff are kind. She has all medical care provided in the home, podiatry, dental, hairdresser and is comfortable. Dad aged 93 now, struggled at home was urgently admitted to hospital but was unsafe to go home. Holly
Bank went out of their way to find a room for him. Him and mum, 89yrs, now sit together again and hold hands (or drop to sleep together).

Holly Bank is in a beautiful location my step-mum has a lovely room with a view over the estuary. The food is excellent and she is always dressed in clean clothes for her room is always nice and clean and the staff are very caring. A hairdresser comes every week and one of the staff gives the ladies
a manicure and varnishes their nails which they love. Although suffering from dementia she is happy there and regards it as her home it took her a while to settle but that was more due to her own incapacity but the staff were nice and she loves them all. We are often invited to celebrations the Christmas Party is always looked forward to.

Anna joined Hollybank as the registered manager in 2023 and has been an asset to the home.


QCF 5 in Health and Social Care, Higher Apprenticeship in Care Leadership and Management. Anna has worked her way up to Registered manager, starting with working as a physiotherapist for 5 years, and Senior Carer for 6 years at Cumbria View Care Ltd. She then progressed to A supervisor/ relief manager at Applethwaite Green, and then on to Branch Manager at Routes Healthcare. Since joining Hollybank Anna has worked closely alongside staff to ensure that the standards of the home are maintained to a high level, and she supervises all the work undertaken in the home along with organising all training.
