Conifers Care Home provides 24hr residential care and respite care, situated in a quiet residential area in the village of Ruabon, just outside of Wrexham. The home benefits from refurbished lounges, dining room and bedrooms as well as lovely views of conifer trees and flowers around the home's gardens. There is also a lake and a nature reserve nearby.

Staff are proud to be welcoming new residents into the home and offer a warm, friendly and homely environment for them to receive the highest possible quality of care. Conifers has 27 beautiful bedrooms, of which 5 are en-suite

Staff are fully trained and carefully selected to encourage residents to retain their own independence where possible and are on hand to support when needed. Staff focus on the personal needs of residents, creating a custom care plan for the individual. Hairdressing, chiropody, communion, baking and gardening are just a few of the activities available at the home.

My mother has been residing at the Conifers since December 2024 and she has always been treated with dignity and respect. The care is exceptional and there is a real sense of belonging and family. The food is always of a high standard and the staff go above and beyond to ensure my mother is eating properly
and is enjoying her food. The management are very accommodating and always available to have a chat and answer any queries.

Whilst my mum has only been at The Conifers for a short period of time I have been impressed by the care she has been provided with thus far. All staff are helpful, pleasant and extremely caring. The staff at the Conifers consistently go

The Conifers Care Home is a very friendly care home with really nice staff and residents. I have got a nice room and the staff are always prompt if I need help. The food is excellent - I have so many favorite meals! I like living here.

I am very pleased to complete this review to praise the excellent levels of care which my Father receives. I work away and have nothing but praise for the way the staff looks after his personal and health needs. The range of activities provided, the socialisation, and the support are exemplary. The

So much of a welcome, when Mum arrived. The staff all introduced themselves. Could not do enough for her, and it has carried on throughout her stay at the Conifers. Any issues with any of her support and information, they have informed me all of the time. Very friendly, and happy to help all of the

It can be a difficult decision for families to make when a parent can no longer be cared for at their home and needs care elsewhere. As a family, I've visited the Conifers Care Home and were immediately struck by how friendly, caring and open each of the staff we met were. The building was neat, tidy
and spacious. Our mum settled in relatively quickly and we are more than happy that she is well cared for by the staff who all give 100%.

I have found over the last three years that my mother has been there she is well cared for and looked after which I am very pleased about and my mother seems to be very happy there. I would also like to add that the management of this care home is a lot better and welcoming (well done).

My brother went into the Conifers Care Home on the 13th of October 2022 and what a welcome he received, outstanding and is still having the care and the personal touch, the feeling of one of a big family. As his family, we are treated with respect and they were the friendliest on arrival and while we're

Since my aunt had a fractured hip she has become more dependent on her care. The staff have stepped up to her greater needs with enhanced care and compassion.
Recent management changes have further improved communication and resident support. I am really delighted with the improving changes in a difficult

I have always been made to feel very welcome when visiting the home. The staff interact with visitors, they will answer any questions about Mum.
They are very accommodating with Mum especially with food, if she doesn't like what's on the menu they will give her an alternative. A very pleasing experience.

The care she has received has been excellent, particularly in view of the current Covid situation and the additional workload and restrictions this has placed on the care staff, all of whom have been superb. I find Conifers Care home extremely friendly. The staff are very caring and kind. Residents are always treated with respect and dignity. Families are treated with respect and nothing is too much trouble for them. Any members of staff are always so helpful. The home is always clean and tidy and the residents

Conifers Care Home continues to give excellent 24-hour care and support to residents with a range of physical and emotional disabilities within a clean, warm and welcoming environment. However, during the past eight months, senior management and the team have totally committed themselves not only to
the care and safeguarding of residents but have become an unassailable bridge between relatives and their loved ones. The challenges faced have been difficult, but the staff have remained totally pledged and responsive to everyone's needs. They understand perfectly the need more than ever for honest and regular updates, which is effectively done through various mediums of communication. Despite the extra responsibilities bestowed upon them, everyone remains committed, happy and positive. They continue to be responsive to the needs of residents and families ensuring that quality of life and freedom of choice is never compromised. I applaud them.

I have been here since May 28th 2019. Within two weeks of being here, I decided that I liked it here, felt safe and very happy. I had only come for an 8-week stay, but as I've already said, I wanted o stay within the two weeks. We have had quite a few manager changes, and deputy managers, I think they
have all been good. Good choice of meals, and of course, my favourite one is Sunday Roasts. I praise all staff, carers, cleaners, cooks and laundry. Very good care with the virus around.
