Conifers Care Home

Conifers Care Home is a very friendly, happy home. The staff are pleasant and very helpful always going the extra mile to help the residents. It is good that many of the staff are local and we see the same staff regularly. The management team are very efficient and know their residents well. Although the building is old, we and my brother-in-law are veyr happy with his care.

Its a really good home, staff and management are amazing.

My mother has been residing at the Conifers since December 2024 and she has always been treated with dignity and respect. The care is exceptional and there is a real sense of belonging and family. The food is always of a high standard and the staff go above and beyond to ensure my mother is eating properly and is enjoying her food. The management are very accommodating and always available to have a chat and answer any queries.

Whilst my mum has only been at The Conifers for a short period of time I have been impressed by the care she has been provided with thus far. All staff are helpful, pleasant and extremely caring. I am completely satisfied that my mum's safety and wellbeing are in good hands due to the exceptional standard of care provided.

The Conifers Care Home provides an excellent standard of 24 hour care. All staff are welcoming and always ready to answer any queries. My mother is confident that support is on hand if needed, and she is always treated with kindness and respect. If any of the staff have any concerns they always keep me informed which is much appreciated.

The Conifers Care Home is a very friendly care home with really nice staff and residents. I have got a nice room and the staff are always prompt if I need help. The food is excellent - I have so many favorite meals! I like living here.

I am very pleased to complete this review to praise the excellent levels of care which my Father receives. I work away and have nothing but praise for the way the staff looks after his personal and health needs. The range of activities provided, the socialisation, and the support are exemplary. The Conifers are also clearly administered very well and has very effective management. My Father likes being there very much and also speaks highly of the food!

So much of a welcome, when Mum arrived. The staff all introduced themselves. Could not do enough for her, and it has carried on throughout her stay at the Conifers. Any issues with any of her support and information, they have informed me all of the time. Very friendly, and happy to help all of the time.

The home is clean and tidy. The staff are all willing to go the extra mile.

It can be a difficult decision for families to make when a parent can no longer be cared for at their home and needs care elsewhere. As a family, I've visited the Conifers Care Home and were immediately struck by how friendly, caring and open each of the staff we met were. The building was neat, tidy and spacious. Our mum settled in relatively quickly and we are more than happy that she is well cared for by the staff who all give 100%.

I am happy that my mother is really well looked after. The staff are caring and conscientious I am kept informed if anything needs to be reported.

I have found over the last three years that my mother has been there she is well cared for and looked after which I am very pleased about and my mother seems to be very happy there. I would also like to add that the management of this care home is a lot better and welcoming (well done).

Very caring staff and good manager and office staff. All staff work well to settle.

My brother went into the Conifers Care Home on the 13th of October 2022 and what a welcome he received, outstanding and is still having the care and the personal touch, the feeling of one of a big family. As his family, we are treated with respect and they were the friendliest on arrival and while we're visiting.

Recent management changes have further improved communication and resident support. I am really delighted with the improving changes in a difficult and challenging economic framework.

They are very accommodating with Mum especially with food, if she doesn't like what's on the menu they will give her an alternative. A very pleasing experience.

My mother has been in residential care at Conifers Care Home for the past two years. The care she has received has been excellent, particularly in view of the current Covid situation and the additional workload and restrictions this has placed on the care staff, all of whom have been superb. I am pleased that my mother is safe and happy.

I find Conifers Care home extremely friendly. The staff are very caring and kind. Residents are always treated with respect and dignity. Families are treated with respect and nothing is too much trouble for them. Any members of staff are always so helpful. The home is always clean and tidy and the residents always look clean and tidy.
