Conifers Care Home provides 24hr residential care and respite care, situated in a quiet residential area in the village of Ruabon, just outside of Wrexham. The home benefits from refurbished lounges, dining room and bedrooms as well as lovely views of conifer trees and flowers around the home's gardens. There is also a lake and a nature reserve nearby.

Staff are proud to be welcoming new residents into the home and offer a warm, friendly and homely environment for them to receive the highest possible quality of care. Conifers has 27 beautiful bedrooms, of which 5 are en-suite

Staff are fully trained and carefully selected to encourage residents to retain their own independence where possible and are on hand to support when needed. Staff focus on the personal needs of residents, creating a custom care plan for the individual. Hairdressing, chiropody, communion, baking and gardening are just a few of the activities available at the home.

I have been here since May 28th 2019. Within two weeks of being here, I decided that I liked it here, felt safe and very happy. I had only come for an 8-week stay, but as I've already said, I wanted o stay within the two weeks. We have had quite a few manager changes, and deputy managers, I think they
have all been good. Good choice of meals, and of course, my favourite one is Sunday Roasts. I praise all staff, carers, cleaners, cooks and laundry. Very good care with the virus around.

Conifers Care Home provides 24-hour care and support in a warm, friendly, clean and inviting environment. Overall, our mother is treated with respect and compassion and I am confident that she is well cared for. Management and senior staff always ensure that we are kept up to date of any changes or
development in both my mothers physical and emotional needs and this is reflected in her care plan when necessary. This gives me confidence and trust in them which for me is essential. The home itself is well maintained, recently redecorated and refurbished clean and fresh. It has a hygiene certificate rate of 5 and the food always looks appetising. Overall, the staff are helpful and friendly and often on first name terms with regular visitors. Personally, I would like to see at least one Welsh-speaking member of staff employed there, but appreciate that this is not always possible. I would certainly recommend the Conifers Care Home to anyone whose relative required respite care or no longer able to live independently.

During my 2 years as a resident, I have been treated with the greatest care and dignity. Every assistance has been given to me, helping me to walk again and regaining my confidence. There is always fun and laughter to be heard in the corridors and there's a safe and happy environment.

My mother has resided at Conifers for approximately six months. Staff are caring and very patient with her. He room is warm and comfortable and is kept clean and tidy. The food served is varied and tasty. I am very satisfied with the standards of care at this home.

Very caring staff work at this home. My grandmother has been very well cared for as she suffers with dementia but the staff are always on hand to speak to if we have any worries. My grandmother loves this home and is very settled here. Exceptional care is given to all residents.

My Mother in Law has only been here a short time but as a family, we feel confident that she is being cared for well by staff who show her care, dignity and understanding. We have very good communication with staff and we are kept informed of any change in her condition. We are very happy with all aspects
