Parkland Place

My mum settled into Plas Parcian immediately. The home can truly be called home because it is bright, warm and welcoming. The staff are a major factor in this. All residents are treated with care and every effort is made to preserve their dignity. The food is nutritious and well prepared in a modern clean kitchen. The home is designed to stimulate and nurture. The bedrooms are comfortable (I saw quite a few when empty). Families are also welcomed into the home and family privacy is respected. I do not hesitate to recommend this home for those people with dementia - families are left completely reassured that their loved ones are safe and well cared for.

My mother entered Olinda Trust in November 2015 and from day one she was treated as part of an extended family. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff take the time to get to know her, her life story and family members who visit. My mother is encouraged to remain as independent as possible and to feel valued and useful, she is often involved with small chores like dusting, wiping down tables and folding clothes. Activities throughout the day are varied with outings being a regular occurrence. My mother loves the singing and dancing groups held locally. My mother is very happy in Olinda "A true home from home".
