Redcroft Care Home

One of the things I noticed when I visited the Redcroft Care Home recently is that it was very clean and spacious, with friendly welcoming staff, with Excellent daily activity’s going on.

There are activities and entertainment for the residents if they wish to join in and there is always an overall sense of being made to feel welcome.

The owner and staff seem to be extremely friendly and helpful.

I am very satisfied with this place and all the staff. I am treated with respect at all times.

My mother is here and I can’t praise the home enough. They do everything they can to help her and to make her feel right at home. Nothing is ever too much to make her feel comfortable. I can’t thank them enough. What a difference new management makes.

I just thought I'd post a quick review of this lovely family-run care home. It's very homely and cosy, not like these new clinical 'care factories' you get these days. I go to visit an old friend of the family and it feels just like somebody's home, staff always come over friendly and offer me a brew and some biccies, to me it just shows that they are aware that you are there. It's always clean and tidy, very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

My mother stayed here for a week's respite care, and was very concerned about going somewhere she didn't know. However, from the very first minute, she was made to feel welcome by the excellent team of carers and catering staff, who went out of their way to accommodate her requests. She settled in very quickly, and during the course of the week, her health improved significantly. I am so grateful to the manager, and his wife, who took the time to sit and chat with my mother throughout the week and to ensure that she was feeling cared for, and that her foot injury and medication were being properly managed. They also took time to keep in touch with me during the week about how she was getting on, which was very reassuring. This is an extremely well-run home, which exudes warmth and genuine concern for its residents, with a hardworking, conscientious and caring team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Redcroft.

Very pleased with the care my grandmother got here at Redcroft. The staff and management were brilliant with her. A very homely atmosphere and the care is excellent above and beyond expectations. Would recommend this home to anyone.

My mother came to Redcroft in April, she is well looked after by the attentive and caring staff and is very happy there. Since moving into Redcroft, her health and well being has improved dramatically. As soon as you enter Redcroft, there's a homely and friendly atmosphere. The staff are always keen to help, nothing is too much trouble and they will find time to sit and chat with my mother. The food and cleanliness are of a high standard.

During my Auntie's time at Redcroft, she has received excellent care. I have noticed a vast improvement in her health since arriving. The staff are very professional, caring and attentive. I am always made to feel welcome by staff and always offered a cup of tea/coffee on arrival. We were so pleased to be told that she could bring her personal possessions - her furniture and pictures have really helped her settle in. I would definitely recommend Redcroft.
