My 94 year old grandmother was transferred into Treetops from hospital 1 week ago. All the family has been so anxious and worried about her going into a care home as we are a close family, my grandmother has vascular dementia. We all hadn't seen her for 4 weeks due to hospital being in lockdown and she was transferred into Treetops from there. On her first night, I rang Treetops and spoke to the Senior Carer and she was very keen to help me and talk to me about my grandmother. The Senior Carer told me she'd been sitting on her bedside looking through a family album with her getting to know her family. I felt so much better after speaking to her I couldn't wait to ring my mother to put her at ease too. All the staff are friendly and comforting and will do anything to help you.

My 86-year-old mother, who suffers from dementia and other medical conditions, has been a resident at Treetops for nearly 18-months. This home has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and the staff have always been caring, patient and understanding with my mother, and my brother and me, who are her main visitors. The staffs care and dedication to the residents throughout the Covid pandemic, and continuing, has been excellent, and they have been a real credit to their profession. I would like to thank each and every member of staff for their dedication throughout this really trying time. You are so appreciated.
My mother has been able to join in with social events and activities within Treetops, Covid rules permitting, and has the company and stimulation provided by the other residents and members of staff. I am so glad that my mother became a resident of Treetops, and has settled in there very well.
Hi Shirley, thank you so much for your kind words. We're glad to have your mother as part of the family here at Treetops and remain dedicated to providing excellent service.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and present in sufficient numbers to ensure that there were always a couple of them actually in with the residents, who were thus able to get individual help when required....

The staff interacted with the residents continuously, providing games and activities and doing their best to engage them in something each day. Dad, who is very difficult to engage in any interaction, enjoyed helping in the garden and going on a shopping trip whilst he was there.
There is a lovely 'family' atmosphere here, and the residents interact well with each other, and with new people, like my Dad. They seem very contented to be there.
When I went to pick him up, he had actually made friends with several residents, who wanted to know when he'd be back!
The whole place is clean, light and airy, the rooms are of good size and have many personal touches.
Thank you.
