Cartref Dyfi Care Home

My dad is very happy at Cartref Dyfi Care Home full of praise for the staff. We are happy that he's well cared for and that we can see him at any time.

Dad is very satisfied with his care and is very happy living in Catref Dyfi. Some members of staff are exceptional; however, he has no issues with any of them. He is also pleased that we are able to visit at any time.

When I visit my uncle, he always says that he is happy. The home is always clean and smells nice and fresh. When I visited last time, he was not there; he had gone out to the local market, which was nice to see. The staff are welcoming and are always able to answer any questions I have.

A lovely, friendly and caring home. The staff go way above their duty, nothing is too much trouble. My sister could have better care anywhere. If I had to go into a care home that is where I want to go.

The residents are treated with great love and care. It's always a pleasure to visit Cartref Dyfi Care Home.

As ever, the care my great-aunt receives is excellent. She was taken poorly and staff phoned us straight away to let us know the situation and what was happening living over sixty miles away, this makes a huge difference. The care she receives from the staff is excellent. Everyone at the home treats her with respect and dignity. The home is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious and all the staff are welcoming and friendly - whether management or maintenance. Hooray for Cartref Dyfi Care Home.

The care my aunt receives is excellent. When she was taken poorly staff got in touch with us straight away to let us know the situation and kept us informed. This is a great comfort to us as we are sixty miles away. The care she receives from everyone is excellent. She is treated with such care and respect. The home is spotlessly clean - so nice to visit somewhere that doesn't smell. The food looks delicious. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. So pleased that Cartref Dyfi Care Home is my aunt's home now.

My mother, aged 95, has been a resident at Cartref Dyfi Care Home since December 2019. The first thing she commented on was how good the food is there (always a good start). Then both she and I noticed that all of the staff, bar none, were exceptionally kind and patient. Throughout the Covid pandemic, despite staff shortages and a heavy workload, the atmosphere there remained cheerful and helpful. This care home has a long and unbroken reputation locally for the quality of its care service to the community. The staff and management there deserve to be justly proud of that record. My mother couldn't be cared for better!

My mother has been at Cartref Dyfi Care Home due to the house being adapted following leg amputation. As a family, we have nothing but praise for all management and staff. They have treated my mother with dignity at all times and nothing has ever been too much trouble. Food and cleanliness are all of a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Cartref Dyfi to anyone looking for somewhere for their family members.

My mother was cared for at Cartref Dyfi Care Home for four years. As one would expect the staff were helpful and efficient. However, above all, they were caring and created a family feeling amongst themselves and the residents. I was always welcomed and kept informed of any welfare or health concerns about my mother. Thank you all.

My mother has been resident at this care home for about 5 years now. She arrived with very mild dementia, which has progressed over the years. The staff have always been very attentive and treated her with dignity and respect. Nothing has been too much trouble for the manager or her staff. They often go the extra mile - over and above the call of duty. The first thing my mother said when she arrived was how lovely the food was. She still tells me how much she enjoys it now. I am always made welcome and greeted with a warm smile when I visit her. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone. It is a great comfort to know that my mother is being looked after so well in my absence. I cannot imagine that she could get any better care anywhere else.
