Everyone was fantastic, loved all the staff and residents, meals were lovely, especially liked the walk-in shower room. Looking forward to staying again on respite.

Plas Cae Crwn has been a godsend for my mother and myself and the rest of the family. Mum has settled in so well, the staff have been so kind and caring towards mum. Mum has a lovely room to make as her own, with access to nearby toilet and other amenities. The support has been brilliant, very helpful with everything. It's lovely that Mum can have her hair done once a week, plus chiropodist coming into the home for treatments too, also eye tests. You only have to ask about anything. Food is really good, plus lots of tea breaks, which mum loves her cuppa teas, with homemade biscuits and cakes. Very clean, bright and airy lounge with outdoor garden to sit out in on warm days, large dinning area for all residents. Mum has made some new friends too, which is lovely to see. Mum has also been on outings to Aberystwyth and to school concerts and meets the school children in the home too. Plus other activities like, quizzes, colouring, bingo, making chocolates and milkshakes and knitting.

The home is a great support and peace of mind, with all the stress and strain being taken away from her daughter. All the staff give support in all manners of ways, her mother is very happy and contented in the home and with others around her, seems more alert in herself. She likes the food and more so loves the treats in-between meal times. Her room is a nice size and she feels safe within the home.

I like it here because of the nurses who look after me and who cook to feed me. Most of all the yellow help button which has saved me on some occasions, when I have needed help.

Friends are always on hand if I need them. Everybody is on hand doctors etc. if I need them and the hospital is a short drive away.

This care home definitely exceeded my expectations. My mum was an emergency admission but in the three days that they had to prepare for her arrival, her room was freshly decorated. My mum settled instantly due in part to the care and welcome that she received from every member of staff. The home has a very homely feel and is very inclusive. It is great to see the staff interact with the residents and the activities offered are varied and interesting for the residents. I joined my mum for afternoon tea on Valentine's day and every effort was made by the activities champions to include all the residents and their families. My mum has settled well and most importantly is safe. The home appears to be well run and mum is very well looked after. Thank you to all at Plas Cae Crwn.

This care home is better than I expected. It offers spacious accommodation and plenty of room in the corridors for disabled residents. Large lounges and very large dining rooms. The manager and staff take good care of my mother. She is happy to be there.

I was invited to come to afternoon tea on 1st December. It was a very special time for us as a family and for the residents. The staff had gone the extra mile to make sure we had an afternoon to remember. Tea was served in china cups and plates. The sandwiches (finger) and cakes were beautifully made and presented. Our thanks to the cook, activities team and care staff at Plas Cae Crwn.

Dad moved in here early in the pandemic and while it was hard having minimal contact with him, the standard of care was evident and gave great peace of mind. The stay was initially to have been respite, but dad was so settled within weeks and has remained more settled, content and happy than he had been for many months. Two years on, I wouldn't wish to imagine him anywhere else.

What a fantastic care home. The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have been wonderful to my mother and she has settled in so well. They are extremely attentive to her and address all her needs. I was very worried how she would be having to leave her own home but thankfully she seems so much more relaxed and happy. This is down to all of the staff.

First things first the staff are brilliant, my mother-in-law needed residential care as her illness had escalated and the care home she was booked into unfortunately could not accommodate her. The manager was at my mother-in-law's house within hours to discuss her going to Plas Cae Crwn instead and then a couple of hours she was settling into her clean, comfortable room and meeting all the other residents.

The staff made her feel welcome from the moment she arrived and offered us a reassuring ear, she has not been there long but you can see the difference in her. She is more confident, looking in better health generally, of course, she still has her illness but the staff are there for her - including liaising with all agencies to ensure she is receiving the care she needs. My mother-in-law always comments on how lovely the food is, especially the homemade cakes and desserts. Thanks to everyone there who has supported her when she needed it most.

Generally satisfied with the home. The food is good, the rooms are warm and comfortable and the staff friendly.

Some points to improve - the music playing in the foyer should be 40's, 50's music and not Radio 1 and it's difficult to catch office staff as they are usually helping out in other areas.
