Meet the Team (1)

Wendy Forbes
Wendy ForbesJob Title:Care Home ManagerJoined: 2013

At Forthland Lodge, I am passionate about providing a comfortable environment that is a happy place to both live and work.

In 1991, I qualified as a mental health nurse and worked in both the NHS and private care for over 20 years until I joined Meallmore in 2012. Throughout this time, I have gained significant insight into the care needs of the elderly, and I am dedicated to providing the best quality care to our residents.

Our care home staff work hard to build relationships with residents, developing an understanding of what is best for each individual in our home and what hobbies and activities they enjoy.

Our weekly breakfast club and regular coffee mornings are a great opportunity for residents to socialise with one another and take part in activities within the local community. The conservatory and garden also serve as the ideal space to enjoy some quiet relaxation.

I endeavour to have everyone feel welcome when they come to Forthland Lodge, and our staff go the extra mile to ensure that everyone’s needs are met.
