Littleinch is a clean and caring home. All staff are friendly and caring to visitors and residents. There are lots of activities going on if you wish to participate. Food always looks good, maybe because I usually visit after my work and I am a bit peckish. My sister is a resident in the home and being
in a home is not what I would wish for her but she needs the care, I genuinely have a fear sometimes that Littleinch could close and she would need to go to another home, I have visited a few people in various homes and most of them were very poor, everything seemed to be done on the cheap and the main driving force seemed to be making money. I know Littleinch is a business but the whole ethos appears to be making the residents happy and secure, and safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Littleinch to anyone considering care for a loved one. I know from working in lots of places over the years that an good ethos and work practices all come from the top, Management set the standards.

Mum has been a resident at Rashielee Care Home for almost 9 months. Her care, health and wellbeing has always been a priority. During my regular visits to the home, it has been an absolute pleasure and joy seeing mum taking part in the wide range of activities on offer, whilst staff continually demonstrate
a great understanding and kindness towards her. She just loves to be 'involved'. Mum is seen by staff as an individual with her own needs, rights and unique personality, which has continued to flourish during her stay.
She now seems more interested in life. The excellence of the management team aligns to all staff, including carers, nurses, receptionist/office ladies, kitchen staff, domestics etc, and all demonstrate care, friendliness and approachability. Rashielee Care Home has a homely feel and I cannot praise it enough. It is an extraordinary care home and I would highly recommend it to your loved ones.

We moved my mother into Rashilee after a not so great experience at another care facility. My mother has advanced dementia and had become a shell of herself. Since being here she joins in all the activities, eats better, and definitely seems happier in herself. The staff are amazing, treat every resident
with dignity and respect, always have time for the families and keep us well informed at all times. This will definitely be Mums forever home and we could not have chosen anywhere better.

My mum became a resident of Rashielee Care Home in April 2025. From day one, and even prior to her admission, the staff have been fantastic. They have made the transition for mum and for the family as smooth and painless as possible. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents and

We are so thankful that we found Rashielee and count our blessings every day that our family member is cared for in such a comfortable environment by a loving and very professional team. From the beginning of our contact with the staff team, nothing has been too much trouble and their communication
is excellent with messages, emails, discussions and chats on a regular basis. We know that our relative is in a safe place with a variety of activities on offer, nourishing meals plus staff have made great efforts to meet all his needs and support us as a family too. It's the best decision we made for him at this time in his life. We particularly appreciate how staff meet his personal needs by asking about his background and interests so their care is very person centred and helps him feel secure and settled. We would heartily recommend Rashielee Care Home to anyone.

Mum went into Rashielee during the covid lockdown in 2020 after a hospital visit. Despite the challenging circumstances, the team at Rashielee made sure contact was maintained and updated whenever required.
5 years on, mum continues to thrive In Rashielee, the staff are all great with her and she's
become at home within the carehome. The most important thing for me is that mum is safe. If there's ever something g that needs addressed the staff reach out to me as soon as they can to let me know. This ranges from hospital visits to questions about mums likes/dislikes and preferences.


All of the staff are superb, and very approachable. Both the care home manager and the deputy are fantastic and if I have any concerns or questions they are more than happy to take the time out and go through them with me.
I smile when people ask how mum is and I speak of Rashielee, because I know she is well looked after, and safe.

After checking out numerous care homes in our area. We chose Rashielee. They are the most caring and attentive of people. Choosing a care home for a loved one is never easy, but Rashielee Home made that decision feel right from the very beginning. My mum has been living there 4 years in October now,
and the care and attention she receives have brought our family real peace of mind. The staff are not only professional but genuinely kind and patient. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and it's clear they treat everyone with respect and warmth. From daily personal care to emotional support, my mum is always treated with dignity.


The home itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a calm, homely atmosphere. We especially appreciate the garden space, where Mum enjoys spending time when the weather is nice. Meals are nutritious and cater to dietary needs, and the staff are happy to accommodate preferences.
Communication with the family has been excellent.

We were concerned about mum moving into the home at first, as she was not well and wasn't coping in hospital. We could not be happier now with how well mum has settled in. She gets on really well with all the staff who are always there helping and entertaining her. Her physical wellbeing has improved
a lot, and she is happy. The home is always spotlessly clean, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Can't praise the staff highly enough.

Rashielee's is a special place. Residents are considered in everything that is done, from Fun Sports day to Learning about the world in the round-the-world months. The manager and her staff run a friendly and comfortable home for all the residents. We, as I family, could not ask for a better place for
our mum to stay. They are also on hand to help me if I have questions or if I am unsure about what mum might need, as making the decision to put mum into care was the hardest decision I had to make. See the way staff are with mum gives me peace of mind and I would recommend Rashielee Care Home to anyone who has this decision to make

Rashielee Care Home and Day Centre, I am grateful to have found a wonderful, organised, happy and caring home for my husband. All staff are amazing, friendly and helpful to residents and relatives alike. There are lots of activities on offer led by two ladies over the week. It may be soup making, Bingo,
crafts, movie time, sing-along or general chit-chat. Twice a week the children from the primary school visit. They are a joy and the residents love their time together. I see my husband almost every day. If I have a question regarding his care I speak to the clinic or staff on duty. They listen to me and sort it out. I can return home knowing all is well. The team at Rashielee were with us every step of my dad's journey, I consider us lucky to have found them. From respite to permanent and finally palliative care, they took such good care of my dad, and of us. The epitome of kindness, patience and professionalism with a huge sprinkling of fun and laughter
in the day-to-day. This is a team you feel safe with to hold your loved ones' space, they will always have our gratitude.

Rashielee made an extremely sad time for us as a family a lot better. Mum was looked after, loved, treated with care, respect and dignity. The residents are kept stimulated with a varied lot of games, cooking, painting, singers, schoolchildren visiting, movie afternoons. The staff all have patients'
best interests at heart and also the families. Any concerns we had were treated quickly and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rashielee for your loved one.

My aunt was a resident within the home for approx 18 months. During this time my aunt's care, health and wellbeing was a priority to all who worked in the home. Staff demonstrated understanding and kindness at all times. They saw my aunt as an individual with her own needs, rights and unique personality
and nurtured this. As a family, we were always welcomed by a friendly face at reception and this continued no matter which part of the home you were in. A wide range of activities were provided regularly. Staff were always asking about key interests my aunt had to ensure they were supporting her favourite music and movies for example. Sadly, my aunt passed away in May. The level of care given prior to and after her passing was outstanding. Managers, nurses and carers ensured her passing was peaceful and dignified, taking full account of my aunt's and her family's wishes.
The leadership of the home is very strong resulting in the high quality service provided. Thank you.

Can't praise this care home enough. The staff are absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. The activities they put on for everyone are outstanding and are geared perfectly to the group as well as individual needs. They provide excellent stimulation and enjoyment. My mum is known
as a souper trouper as she is involved in making soup which is eaten by her friends in the home. The management and nursing staff are always on hand to explain any worries my mum or I have. This care home is exceptional and I have recommended it to so many of my friends.

Had such an amazing day at such a well-organised Sports Day... Everything was geared so family and residents got to join in the fun together... Food and drinks laid on for everyone and the sun shone for us... Lovely to sit with your loved one in a relaxed and well-organised event.

My father has been a resident in the home from November 2023, every member of staff has been very good with him since he has gone in. My Dad cannot really do anything for himself so I am very grateful for everything that all staff do. They are all very caring people.

My father became a resident in August 2023, he had dementia. My family and I were worried about how he would manage with the transition into a care home. The excellence of the management team cascaded to all the staff, including carers, domestics, nurses, kitchen staff etc. Everyone was caring, friendly,
and approachable. One of the carers would engage with Dad in one-to-one activities such as playing pool. The chef made my Dad's favourite- Tiramisu. We knew we had made the correct decision when we moved Dad into the home, Dad was safe and well looked after. Unfortunately, in January, my dad moved to end of life care, and was then moved onto end of life care. The staff kept myself and family involved in his care, allowing us to spend precious time with him. I will never forget the way they treated my Dad, with the utmost dignity and respect. This will stay with our family forever. My Dad had a peaceful and a good death, which was made possible by the staff within the home.

My Dad has been in Rashielee for nearly two years and suffers from dementia. It was a massive change for him but the staff made this change so much easier. He settled very quickly and now thinks of it as home. Staff are exceptional with the assistant manager particularly great. Regular updates on how
my dad is, genuine interest in what more they can do to help him and always keen to hear from me and my brother about how we feel his care is. Highly recommend Rashielee - lovely care home.

Irvine Watson

Irvine and Christine Watson formed LittleInch Ltd in 1988, opened LittleInch Care Home on 15th January 1990 and Erskine Care Centre on 1st April 2005. Previously, Irvine worked as a director of a Glasgow civil engineering company and as a senior manager with AMEC, the multinational civil engineering, building and mechanical services company. He completed an MBA at the University of Glasgow in 1993 and presently manages the business. Irvine and Christine have three children Andrew, Ian and Katie plus seven young grandsons.

Kirsty Cartin

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2007

Kirsty has dedicated over 20 years to nursing in care homes. A local lass, she joined Rashielee in 2007 as nurse, progressing to deputy manager and then manager. Passionate about social care nursing, she completed the Queen’s Nurse Leadership Development Programme in 2023, earning the prestigious Queen’s Nurse title. That same year, she won the Leadership Award at the Scottish Care Home Awards.
When not in Rashielee, Kirsty cherishes time with her family but also enjoys the solitude of long walks in the hills. An avid reader, she finds comfort in quiet evenings, curled up with a good book and her cat.

Jennifer, a local girl and familiar face in Erskine, began working for Littleinch Ltd as a care assistant in our Inchinnan Home before moving to Rashielee as nurse and then deputy manager. Jennifer has always enjoyed supporting older adults, both in the care home and NHS - a passionate advocate for person centred care. She attained 'Nurse of the Year' in 2022 at the Scottish Care Home Awards, a career highlight. Jennifer is a proud mother of two daughters who are following her lead, pursuing careers in health and social care.
