Following a traumatic experience at a previous care home and pressure from the hospital to find a care home for my mum urgently, I was apprehensive about finding a new care home for mum. After speaking to Jen, all I can say was all my doubts and apprehension was lifted. A visit from Jen to my mum in hospital helped reassure my mum that she would be amongst loving staff. The staff moved mountains to facilitate the transfer and settle mum into her new home. She was surrounded by staff who showed her love and affection and were able to give her the care that she desperately needed following a stroke and some other medical issues. Moving mum to Rashielee care home was the best thing I could do for her.

Thank you. We know that a move to a care home can be a stressful and emotional experience for all involved and we are delighted that your mum has settled in. We pride ourselves in the information and attention we give to residents and their family - and this begins prior to moving in.

Overall Experience

A very cosy and homely care home. My cousin admitted 3 weeks ago. She suffers from dementia but I am amazed how quickly she has settled into Rashielee with the care and attention she receives from all members of staff. Her general health, appetite and mood has already improved. With a variety of activities on offer. My cousin is benefitting from the social interaction. All in all, very satisfied with everything this smashing care home offers their residents and peace of mind for relatives.

My husband has been a resident in Rashielee for over 2 years. I visit him almost every day. I always find him to be comfortable, tidy, and settled. His room is ensuite and always immaculate. If I have a question regarding his care I speak first with the nurse on duty. My concerns are dealt with immediately. There are activities every afternoon. Choirs, magicians, bands, are invited to entertain frequently. The staff are caring, friendly, always have a chat and ask after my welfare, when visiting. Food excellent too with lots of nutrition and fluids.
I am so pleased I found a Care Home which attends to all my husbands needs, with love and compassion.

Thank you all.

Mum is very happy on a day to day basis. It's good to know she is being well cared for by the excellent staff. There is plenty going on every day so she is never bored. On the days she doesn't feel like joining in, her wishes are respected. She also likes what food is on offer.

Overall Experience

Littleinch is a clean and caring home. All staff are friendly and caring to visitors and residents. There are lots of activities going on if you wish to participate. Food always looks good, maybe because I usually visit after my work and I am a bit peckish. My sister is a resident in the home and being in a home is not what I would wish for her but she needs the care, I genuinely have a fear sometimes that Littleinch could close and she would need to go to another home, I have visited a few people in various homes and most of them were very poor, everything seemed to be done on the cheap and the main driving force seemed to be making money. I know Littleinch is a business but the whole ethos appears to be making the residents happy and secure, and safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Littleinch to anyone considering care for a loved one. I know from working in lots of places over the years that an good ethos and work practices all come from the top, Management set the standards.

Mum has been a resident at Rashielee Care Home for almost 9 months. Her care, health and wellbeing has always been a priority. During my regular visits to the home, it has been an absolute pleasure and joy seeing mum taking part in the wide range of activities on offer, whilst staff continually demonstrate a great understanding and kindness towards her. She just loves to be 'involved'. Mum is seen by staff as an individual with her own needs, rights and unique personality, which has continued to flourish during her stay.

She now seems more interested in life. The excellence of the management team aligns to all staff, including carers, nurses, receptionist/office ladies, kitchen staff, domestics etc, and all demonstrate care, friendliness and approachability. Rashielee Care Home has a homely feel and I cannot praise it enough. It is an extraordinary care home and I would highly recommend it to your loved ones.

We moved my mother into Rashilee after a not so great experience at another care facility. My mother has advanced dementia and had become a shell of herself. Since being here she joins in all the activities, eats better, and definitely seems happier in herself. The staff are amazing, treat every resident with dignity and respect, always have time for the families and keep us well informed at all times. This will definitely be Mums forever home and we could not have chosen anywhere better.

My mum became a resident of Rashielee Care Home in April 2025. From day one, and even prior to her admission, the staff have been fantastic. They have made the transition for mum and for the family as smooth and painless as possible. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents and you see this in the way they interact with everyone. I'm glad we chose Rashielee for my mum.

We are so thankful that we found Rashielee and count our blessings every day that our family member is cared for in such a comfortable environment by a loving and very professional team. From the beginning of our contact with the staff team, nothing has been too much trouble and their communication is excellent with messages, emails, discussions and chats on a regular basis. We know that our relative is in a safe place with a variety of activities on offer, nourishing meals plus staff have made great efforts to meet all his needs and support us as a family too. It's the best decision we made for him at this time in his life. We particularly appreciate how staff meet his personal needs by asking about his background and interests so their care is very person centred and helps him feel secure and settled. We would heartily recommend Rashielee Care Home to anyone.

Mum went into Rashielee during the covid lockdown in 2020 after a hospital visit. Despite the challenging circumstances, the team at Rashielee made sure contact was maintained and updated whenever required.

5 years on, mum continues to thrive In Rashielee, the staff are all great with her and she's become at home within the carehome. The most important thing for me is that mum is safe. If there's ever something g that needs addressed the staff reach out to me as soon as they can to let me know. This ranges from hospital visits to questions about mums likes/dislikes and preferences.

All of the staff are superb, and very approachable. Both the care home manager and the deputy are fantastic and if I have any concerns or questions they are more than happy to take the time out and go through them with me.

I smile when people ask how mum is and I speak of Rashielee, because I know she is well looked after, and safe.

After checking out numerous care homes in our area. We chose Rashielee. They are the most caring and attentive of people. Choosing a care home for a loved one is never easy, but Rashielee Home made that decision feel right from the very beginning. My mum has been living there 4 years in October now, and the care and attention she receives have brought our family real peace of mind. The staff are not only professional but genuinely kind and patient. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and it's clear they treat everyone with respect and warmth. From daily personal care to emotional support, my mum is always treated with dignity.

The home itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a calm, homely atmosphere. We especially appreciate the garden space, where Mum enjoys spending time when the weather is nice. Meals are nutritious and cater to dietary needs, and the staff are happy to accommodate preferences.

Communication with the family has been excellent.

We were concerned about mum moving into the home at first, as she was not well and wasn't coping in hospital. We could not be happier now with how well mum has settled in. She gets on really well with all the staff who are always there helping and entertaining her. Her physical wellbeing has improved a lot, and she is happy. The home is always spotlessly clean, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Can't praise the staff highly enough.

Rashielee's is a special place. Residents are considered in everything that is done, from Fun Sports day to Learning about the world in the round-the-world months. The manager and her staff run a friendly and comfortable home for all the residents. We, as I family, could not ask for a better place for our mum to stay. They are also on hand to help me if I have questions or if I am unsure about what mum might need, as making the decision to put mum into care was the hardest decision I had to make. See the way staff are with mum gives me peace of mind and I would recommend Rashielee Care Home to anyone who has this decision to make

Rashielee made an extremely sad time for us as a family a lot better. Mum was looked after, loved, treated with care, respect and dignity. My aunt was a resident within the home for approx 18 months. During this time my aunt's care, health and wellbeing was a priority to all who worked in the home. Staff demonstrated understanding and kindness at all times. They saw my aunt as an individual with her own needs, rights and unique personality and nurtured this. As a family, we were always welcomed by a friendly face at reception and this continued no matter which part of the home you were in. A wide range of activities were provided regularly. Staff were always asking about key interests my aunt had to ensure they were supporting her favourite music and movies for example. Sadly, my aunt passed away in May. The level of care given prior to and after her passing was outstanding. Managers, nurses and carers ensured her passing was peaceful and dignified, taking full account of my aunt's and her family's wishes.

The leadership of the home is very strong resulting in the high quality service provided. Thank you.
