My dad has been a full-time resident for 3 years. He has settled and he is cared for extremely well. I don't know where we would be without the care, support and expertise of the wonderful staff in this care home. The staff keep me up to date with anything I need to know and the manager sends out a weekly email informing everyone of what’s been going on in the home and Covid restriction updates regarding visiting. There’s always themed days arranged which residents seem to enjoy and by the look of it I think the staff do too, the enthusiasm and laughter they’ve brought to many residents, to keep their spirits up through this pandemic has been amazing. Thank you all so much for everything you do each and every day!

Reply from Irvine Watson, Managing Director at Rashielee Care Home and Day Centre

Thank you for your review. There is no question that the staff at Rashielee look upon their jobs as more than a job. They go the extra mile to make sure our residents are cared for and their needs are being met. The theme days are always good fun, it certainly brightens up the day. We will be making improvements later this year and we will look for ideas and suggestions. Thank you.

Ever since my aunt went into the care home, she has been very happy. It has also given us and my uncle peace of mind which is also really important. The staff work really hard to look after the residents and give them a variety of activities.

Thank you for your review. It is very satisfying to read reviews that support the work that all our carers and support staff do. Our priority is our residents, their care and meeting their needs. We will be making improvements to rooms later this year and we will be looking for ideas and suggestions. We hope we can count on your input. Thank you.

My dad came into Rashielee Care Home in May 2021. Dad had community carers and myself looking after him but it wasn’t enough. Since coming into Rashielee it has given him a new lease on life
Dad has all his needs met with a loving caring staff. He has his physical, mental and nutritional needs met. He also loves the activities shared with other residents.
The staff take part including the management dressing up on theme days.
He loves the music with the glitterball on the ceiling and the wall. Playing bingo, painting pictures, he will try anything!
As a Christian, he loves me to read his bible with him and pray. I would like to thank all the carers, management, cleaners, kitchen staff, activity coordinators handyman, gardeners and anyone else I’ve missed every one is a team and meet all the residents' needs. Dad is happy he has company, which is important. He loves using a wheelchair and calls it his bike.

Thank you all staff and hope dad is able to enjoy his time.

Thank you for your review. Getting my dad to Rashielee care home was a real breakthrough. Prior to this, he was at risk at home, falling regularly, having bad hallucinations and the worst of it all was loneliness. He was going downhill fast. Now, after a few months at Rashielee, he is a changed man. All of the staff are amazing and keep him involved with the many stimulating activities they arrange. He told me he loves it and everything is free. Well done and thank you to the whole team. Best regards.

Thank you for your review. Sadly it is often unintentional self-neglect that leads to frailty as people get older and especially if living alone, my own father was that person. With acceptance and even a short stay in care, it is extremely satisfying to see dramatic changes in their life and a new...

The care my family member received at Littleinch was great, no complaints at all. The staff are fantastic, from management to nursing staff, carers, everyone! They have a real genuineness in their care for the patients and making sure their needs are met, as a family member I was very comfortable that her needs were met, always lots happening to get involved in and felt very relaxed that she was safe.

My mum has been here for 6/7 weeks now and her overall general health has improved significantly in this short period of time. Mainly due to the high level of care and attention, she has received from both the medical and care staff alike. They are in constant communication with all family members to keep us updated on Mum's progress and nothing is ever an issue for them. Would totally recommend this facility to anyone who may find themselves in the same position as we did recently and requiring a safe, caring environment for a loved one. So glad we chose Rashielee Care Home!

My mum has been a resident for just over a month. Staff are very professional and caring, nothing is a problem to them. Management and staff are very welcoming when we visit the home and are very good at communicating with the family. Myself and my family have peace of mind that my mum is being well cared for and firmly believe we have made the right choice in choosing Rashielee.

It's almost a year since my mum was welcomed as a resident at Rashielee. Neither she nor I had any idea of what to expect following her stroke but, as we both live in Erskine, Rashielee was the obvious choice for full-time care. Having never even visited a home before, and hearing horror stories of treatment in others, I can honestly say I terrified of what to expect. However, from the very first meeting with the staff any concerns I had disappeared. I have never met such caring and loving people, not only towards mum but also to me. I've laughed and cried with them all, and am so grateful they are who they are. The home is immaculate and clean. Mum's room is just as she wants it and nothing is too much trouble. Mum said to me the other day that she loves where she lives and can't imagine being anywhere else. I think that's high praise indeed. Thank you one and all.

There aren't too many reviews that remind me of why we set out in this journey of providing care for vulnerable people and support for relatives. My mum became a resident in February 2020 and the team have made a very difficult transition much easier for the whole family.

My stepdad has been in Rashielee for nearly 2 months. I have been continually impressed by the communication of the staff with my mum, his care and the friendly staff. Rashielee provides the residents with care and stimulation. They are continually looking for new ways to engage and have fun with the residents. They have themed days, nature activities, sports, arts and crafts etc. The staff get dressed up for events and everyone looks like they are having fun. The range of activities is fantastic as are the staff. It is so reassuring for residents and their families during a difficult time.

Every member of staff from managers, reception and all of the care home's staff are friendly, helpful and carry out their duties in a very professional manner towards my mum and myself and family when we visit. Nothing is ever too much of a problem to deal with and there is always plenty of feedback from the home in updates, what's going on, activities and general updates especially with all concerning the last year or so with the pandemic, which I think the care home have handled extremely well.

My father became resident in January 2020 after being a daycare service user. From reception through to care and nursing staff, he was well cared for and his individual requirements taken care of. Family members visited regularly and got to know the friendly and efficient staff looking after dad. The home is clean, welcoming and a pleasant place to be. Dad’s room was spacious and comfortable, with en-suite facilities and we personalised his bedding and added photos, to make him feel at home. Dad always enjoyed his food, which was of good quality and varied. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rashielee Care Home.

My sister is extremely happy and well cared for. The care staff are always on hand should you need to speak with them and greet you with a smile. Reception staff are always friendly and welcoming when you arrive at the care home and could not be more helpful if you have to phone. I have found every member of staff from manager to laundry workers work as a team and have the well-being of the residents at heart.

The level of care provided to residents is outstanding. My mother was a resident until she passed away recently. I honestly cannot praise the staff enough, I most certainly wasn’t the easiest of relatives to deal with purely because I was of the opinion that no one could care for my mum the way I could, I was wrong. Every video and photo I received from staff during the lockdown showed my mum happy, dancing and singing and truly cared for and content. It has proved to be such a comfort to know that the staff really do treat the residents like their own families. Thank you.

My gran has been a resident since October 2019. We were hesitant for our gran to go into a home as she had been able to stay in her own home until she was 95. However, we couldn’t have chosen a better place for her to be cared for. From the day she arrived, she has been treated with love, dignity and respect.

During the coronavirus outbreak, we have been unable to visit my gran. The home has kept us in touch via video chat, videos and pictures so we know that my gran is ok. They are caring for her as if she was family, and we couldn’t ask for more.
