Mum lived in Stanely Park for more than two years prior to her death this month.
I cannot recommend the staff highly enough. The care she received was excellent, from when she entered the home still comparatively fit and mobile and they took her out and about, to suffering from the terminal effects of vascular dementia they treated her appropriately and with dignity!

Our thanks to you all.

My mum has been in Stanley Park Care Home now for 8mths. The care home staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there is always someone available to speak to at all times. I am happy that my mum is in a very safe environment and the staff are very attentive to her needs. She is now taking part in the many activities and outings that the care home provides, something she has not done in many years. There is plenty of laughter and music within the care home which she enjoys a great deal. I would highly recommend Stanley Park Care Home to anyone looking for their loved ones.

I find that the staff care for my mum with warmth and affection.
They know her well and understand her likes and dislikes.
Thye advise us if they feel she is 'not herself'.
They call a doctor to check she has no infection if she seems different than normal.

My mum enjoys her days out with the carers.

I have experienced other care homes with friends and family and I find Stanely Park a well run, very clean and welcoming place. Food, care and wellbeing of residents are catered for at a high standard. The activity and involvement of residents, friends and family are in my opinion of the best.
The staff go above the standards I have had contact with and I wouldn't hesitate to live there myself.

This I simply could not say about other care homes I have known.

My mum became a resident on 30 June 2017 and she has settled in extremely well thanks to the management and wonderful staff in Stanely Park. There are always plenty of activities going on with music and guest entertainers which Mum really enjoys and we are very grateful for all the hard work and effort put in by the activity co-ordinator and all staff. They have shown such kindness and compassion to Mum on the recent loss of her husband and have helped her cope with the bereavement.

My mother was a resident for 3years at Stanley Park Care home. I can highly recommend this home. The standard of care was excellent the staff looked after my mother so well and made the last years of Mums life special. Mum was so well cared for in all her activities of daily living. I cannot find the right words to thank them enough for looking after Mum particularly the last few days of her life.

My father has been a resident at Stanely Park Care Home for approaching ten years. In all that time he has been treated with great care and understanding. Dad has always been someone who steers his own path and was unlikely to 'join in' many activities or events. This proved to be the case but he has been looked after so sympathetically and been treated as an individual with distinct likes and interests. These include his newspapers, books and watching golf and rugby. These interests have been encouraged, with staff happy to discuss topics with him (often funny - and it is so good to see him laugh) as well as care for his growing physical and mental health needs. The staff are wonderful, the seniors in particular and have supported not just Dad but my sister and I as well in the time that Dad has been a resident.

My aunt has been at Stanely Park since Feb 2014 and has been cared for extremely well. The care home has excellent activities to enhance patients minds. The home is very clean and clothing is kept lovely. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with any questions. My aunt is very content and feels safe which is very comforting for the family.

Since my Aunt entered Stanely Park Care Home 18 months ago she has improved physically and mentally. She has benefited from the high level of care provided. She can now interact with other people when and if she wishes. She is able to join in the daily activities and occasional outings again when and if she wishes. I have peace of mind that she is being looked after 24 hours a day and if there are any issues I am promptly informed by her senior team member.

My mother has been at Stanely Park Care Home for just over a year now. This home had the best reviews in the area. We were not disappointed. Mum feels safe here and with the friendly staff making it a pleasant place for her to be in. The home has a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

My mother has been a resident at the Stanely Park Care Home for more than 3 years.
She tells me that the staff are very good and caring and look after her, also she is very happy to be there.
Anytime I visit the care home, the manager and staff keep me up to date with any issues that my mother has or needs.
The entertainment coordinator gets everyone involved in many recreation and leisure activities and the care home provides special days for the residents.
The home is very clean and if there are any hygiene issues they are dealt with as quick as possible.

I would recommend this care home to anyone.
