I've only good things to say about the staff, the care, and the facilities at Rosaburn House. Everyone made my 92 year old dad feel welcome right from the moment he moved in - staff talked to him, listened to him, and cared for him. The home is always spotless, the food smells good, and we're always welcome to visit. We, including my dad, couldn't be happier.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. We're truly delighted to hear that your dad has felt so welcome and well cared for at Rosaburn House. Our team takes great pride in listening to our residents and making them feel at home, so your kind words mean a great deal to us. It's also wonderful to know that you feel welcome whenever you visit.
Rosaburn has exceeded our family's expectations in many ways. The staff are compassionate and responsive. Settling in has been facilitated without further overwhelming our family, making the transition from home to residential care smoother than expected. Our requests are met with helpful and timely responses. If you are looking for a care home, I strongly recommend visiting Rosaburn and meeting with the staff.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We are truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience. Supporting residents and their families through what can be a challenging transition is very important to us, and we're delighted to hear that our team helped make the...
Nothing is too much trouble and any questions or concerns are dealt with immediately
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear your mum feels welcomed, safe, and well supported, and that you've already seen such a positive change in her. Your kind words about our team, activities, and responsiveness mean a great deal to us. Thank you for your trust and support.
Mum is treated with dignity and respect and has fun with all the carers who seem to know what each resident needs as individuals.
Mum loves the food which just keeps on coming and this is great as mum was always fussy about her food.
The Team work hard to keep the residents stimulated and content with a wide range of activities.
Thank you for your kind review. We're so pleased to hear that your mum has been happy at Rosaburn and feels treated with dignity and respect. It's lovely to know she enjoys the food and the activities, and that your family feels able to communicate openly with our team. Your support means a great deal to us.
She has now been at Rosaburn for two weeks, and the difference in her is unbelievable. Before arriving, Mum was spending most days and nights alone at home, with visitors during the day. Now she's taking part in activities we never imagined she would try - chair yoga, chair Zumba, exercise sessions, and social mealtimes with other residents. She's far more alert, engaged, and genuinely enjoying herself.
Her room is lovely, and the staff couldn't be any nicer - warm, friendly, caring, and truly dedicated to the residents' wellbeing. You can clearly see how much they care. The home itself is beautiful, welcoming, and has such a positive atmosphere.
We are now hoping Mum can stay long-term, as we feel confident this will be the right place for her. Thank you to all the staff at Rosaburn - you have made an incredible difference, we are truly grateful!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely message. We are truly touched by your kind words and are delighted to hear how well your mum has settled into life at Rosaburn. It's wonderful to know that she is enjoying the activities, socialising with other residents, and feeling more...
My wife was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's, which progressed to the stage of requiring residential care. As a family, we explored the options available through a number of Care Homes, and settled on Rosaburn House. She entered Rosaburn in February 2025 and settled into the environment. The building is modern, yet it contains pictures of nostalgia to help the residents feel at home.
The bedrooms are spacious, and personalisation is supported. All the staff are very supportive of my wife, and encourage her to participate in everything that the home has to offer. They all know her and interact with her, treating her as part of an extended family.
I am extremely satisfied with the treatment my wife receives, and the treatment we, as a family and friends, receive. Issues are quickly resolved, and we are kept up to date on any developments in her care.
This type of decision is not an easy one to make, but Rosaburn House provides excellent care and peace of mind.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review. We're truly honoured that you chose Rosaburn House for your wife's care, and we are pleased to hear that she has settled in well. It means a lot to know our team's support and the home's environment have brought comfort to both your wife and your...
What a lovely place Rosaburn is for my mum to stay. It is her birthday next month and Rosaburn emailed to ask if we would like to come in for a 3 course dinner or afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday with her, as they have done the last couple of years. It's always a really nice experience and just shows how much they care about their residents and families. My mum feels so at home there and has her own we community of friends to keep her occupied.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your mum feels at home at Rosaburn and has built her own community of friends. We're so glad you've enjoyed the birthday celebrations in the past, and we're looking forward to welcoming you again soon to mark her special day. It's always a pleasure to help create those meaningful moments for our residents and their families.
Mum became a resident of Rosaburn recently and I was very apprehensive about her move. Staff were very supportive and helpful during the initial transition period. The care home is well maintained, rooms feel spacious and well decorated with comfort in mind. Access to additional services such as chiropody, opticians and hairdressing services can be arranged very easily via staff. Staff keep in contact with me either via telephone or face to face with any updates or concerns. Unable to comment on meals but mum is maintaining her weight. Housekeeping services fantastic, rooms, communal areas and personal items always clean and fresh. Overall, I am happy with Rosaburn care home and I feel mum content and happy
Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We're so pleased to hear that your mum has settled in well and that you felt supported during her transition to Rosaburn. It's great to know you're happy with the cleanliness, communication, and the services available. Your feedback means a lot to the whole team and will be shared with them.
Mum is well cared for and is happy in her own wee world. Care staff are great with her. The care medically is well communicated to us and she seems content. The food and supplied to mum is of a high standard and the catering staff are almost like carers too. The wing is always tidy and her room is also clean and tidy.
Thank you for your kind words. We're truly delighted to hear that your mum is well cared for. It means a great deal to our team to know that the care, communication, and environment we provide are making a positive difference. Our care and catering staff work closely together to ensure every...
I have two relatives in Rosaburn, both require very different care but are equally well looked after by all members of staff. Everyone is very friendly and kind. There is a lovely atmosphere about the place, plenty of activities going on and plenty of company for all residents, would and have recommended Rosaburn to anyone who asks, can't fault a thing.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's wonderful to hear how well both your relatives are being cared for, despite their different needs. I'm thrilled you enjoy our friendly atmosphere, varied activities, and the companionship offered here.We truly appreciate your recommendation and will pass this lovely feedback on to the whole team-it means a lot to us.
Rosaburn is very clean and comfortable, much cosier than I'd expected, and Mum seems to enjoy the food. There are plenty of activities, and the onsite hairdressers do her hair beautifully. The Northcare Finance team have also been very helpful while we navigated the complexities of how Mum's care is funded.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful experience. We're delighted to hear how happily your mum has settled into Rosaburn after over two years, we take great pride in providing a warm, respectful, and familiar environment for each of our residents. It means so much to our entire team to know...
Wow, what an amazing care home. The staff are impeccable and the member of staff from reception always makes you feel welcome. The staff go above and beyond the call of duty and always look after my gran to the highest extent. She's so happy and it's all because of the amazing staff
I'm delighted to hear that your gran is happy at Rosaburn House and that the care provided meets your expectations. Our team is committed to upholding the highest standards of support and dignity, ensuring that all residents and their families are consistently greeted with warmth and respect,...
Making the decision to place a loved one into a care home is never easy for any family. However, the transition was made so much easier thanks to the incredible team at Rosaburn. From day one, every member of staff welcomed my father with open arms and treated him with the utmost respect and compassion. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care have provided great comfort to both him and our family.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We're delighted to hear that your dad and your family felt supported and welcomed during this transition into Rosaburn House. Our team at Rosaburn strives to provide compassionate and personalised care, and it's rewarding to know we succeeded in making your dad's settling-in process smooth and comforting.
Finding a care home is hard. It was a big shock for Mum and the whole family as she had been so independent until that point. Rosaburn was the last of six homes we looked at in East Kilbride and we knew almost immediately it was the right place for Mum. Residents are treated with respect,
All the staff, whatever their role, make a real effort to get to know residents individually which is appreciated by Mum and by us. I don't live locally so cannot visit as frequently as I would like but I am always warmly welcomed and can call anytime to speak to Mum or get a full update on her condition from staff. I am confident that the team at Rosaburn give mum the care she needs and keep me in the loop when things change for her.
It took time for Mum to settle in but she seems happy now. She enjoys the dancing, Zumba and singing. It is lovely they make a special effort with Mother's Day afternoon teas and a summer barbeque when residents and their guests can share food and company.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that our dedicated staff's efforts in providing personalised care and creating meaningful experiences through our special events at Rosaburn House have positively impacted you and your mums experience. Your feedback motivates us to continue striving for excellence in serving our residents and their families.
I am very satisfied with the care and attention given to my husband at Rosaburn. I find the staff very accommodating and friendly. I would be grateful if a room downstairs ever became available he may be considered as he gets confused with lift situation, although staff are very good at taking him up or down in the lift. I would highly recommend Rosaburn House to anyone who would be looking for a care home for there loved ones.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It's wonderful to hear that our team was accommodating and friendly to both you and your husband. Your feedback means a lot to us.
My uncle is very happy at Rosaburn. The staff are all friendly and he enjoys his banter with them. Facilities are good quality, much nicer than the other potential home we looked at in EK after a stay in hospital nesessitated a move into a care home. The staff have even responded very helpfully when his Sky tv connection in his room needed the communal system to be upgraded, and they kept that progressed and kept me updated which I really appreciated. I feel my uncle is safe and well looked after and is in the right place.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. We are delighted to hear that your uncle feels at home at Rosaburn House and that our staff have fostered a strong, caring connection with him. Providing excellent communication and personalised care is our top priority, and your appreciation motivates us to continue delivering the best possible service.
We turned up at Rosaburn Care Home without making an appointment and they made every effort to show us around the home and answer any question we had. We visited a few care homes before this one, and not all were as accommodating.
My Dad has been in the care home for about 5 month now and I couldn't ask anymore from them. My dad struggled when he was first there and staff done everything they could to make him feel comfortable and at home.
I've observed the staff to be attentive and engaging with all the residents and my dad has alot of fun with them. I honestly wouldn't want to single out any of the staff as they are all fantastic.
The staff know each resident and what their likes and dislikes are. Whenever I have a question regarding my dad, they know him and can answer it rather than having to look up notes etc which I find very personable.
Its a great place!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. I am delighted to hear that everyone was so accommodating and that dad has now settled in well within Rosaburn House. Our team works hard to provide compassionate and personalised care, and your kind words motivate us to keep doing our best.
Two of dad's grand daughters went & visited 7 care homes in the area.....a few were instantly NO, some were a MAYBE until they visited Rosaburn which was an immediate YES. Myself & wife then met with staff and had a visit to the home & totally agreed with them. Moving dad after 25yrs on his own was not going to be easy but due to the increase in his dementia it became to difficult to keep him safe on his own. The staff have been very helpful in settling dad into a completely new way of life but have also been aware of his need to go at his own pace. As all the family live a distance from the home it has been helpful to have calls regarding his settling in with really the only issue being his not sleeping at night but with their help & support they are working to resolve this. The constant worry about dad has been lifted and we know that if any further issues occur we will be contacted. In dad' own words ....this is the best hotel I've stayed in and the waitresses are all wonderful
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience with Rosaburn House and that your dad is happy here. Your kind words truly mean a lot to the entire team as we're passionate about what we do, and feedback like this makes it all the more rewarding.
My dad has been in the care home over 2 years now he has really settled in & gets on with all the staff well they are all fab with him as a family we are happy with his care he receives & the attention he gets .
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Rosaburn House Care Home. We are glad to hear that your dad has settled in so well to our Care Home.I will pass on your kind words to the staff as they will be happy to hear your kind words.
My mum took time to adjust to care home living, staff helped us both during this adjustment period showing great patience & compassion. From walking into the welcoming reception, you are greeted with friendly helpful staff including management, nursing, catering, personal care staff & housekeeping. The daily activities timetable is well received too & it's heartwarming to see my mum & her new friends singing & dancing at exercise classes or at the in-house cinema. Staff are very astute & have acted quickly when they've noticed my mum wasn't 100%, contacting me while quickly getting her medically seen to & treated within the home. I can relax knowing that she is being looked after & staff are on hand 24 hours a day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Care Home. We are happy to hear that your mum has settled in well at Rosaburn House and enjoys the daily activities. I am pleased to hear that the staff keep you updated and at ease with any updates on your mum. I will pass on your kind words to the wider team as feedback like yours means a lot to us.
