My mother-in-law had fabulous care in Tigh-Na-Muirn for the last two years of her previously long and active life. We chose Tigh-Na-Muin as having been two GPs in the area for decades both my husband and I had always been impressed by the high quality of care and compassion shown towards patients being
looked after there.
We were not disappointed. My mother-in-law had care tailored to her needs and as she became increasingly frail her care was adapted accordingly. Staff always went above and beyond, were kind and caring at all times, the manager was appropriately in touch and we always felt well informed and included in any decisions taken.
It is a nice clean friendly environment with good personal space as well as attractive interactive public spaces, making visiting pleasant.
I was recommended the home by friends, and will equally pass on our satisfaction to friends and anyone who may ask.

My mother took a while to settle in over January and February. The staff showed infinite understanding and compassion, not only with Mum but also with my sister and me.
Mum has settled now and the staff continue to be exceptional. They always have a smile and a greeting. They send us reassuring emails,
often with a cheery picture attached.

My mother spent a number of months as a resident and my only regret is that we never considered earlier. The staff were very attentive, there were always activities on the go both internal and external of the home and cleanliness was second to none. I am using direct knowledge of other establishments
that my mother used but where the standards did not come anywhere close to that provided by Tigh-Na-Muirn.
Unfortunately, my mother's dementia was quite advanced by the time she secured a room and she was not able to fully enjoy the full extent of what was on offer, but the family were able to rest easy knowing she was receiving excellent care around the clock.

A fantastic home. Great staff, nothing is too much bother, peace of mind when I went home that Mum was being looked after. The home is beautiful, decor and cleanliness are 5-star, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home as a safe place for a loved one.

My father and his family were so pleased with the care and kindness shown at TNM. The food was also excellent and my father met the chef every week who kindly discussed and took his order for the week. The food was cooked on-site and was plentiful. There were varied activities, particularly in the summer
months. My father enjoyed the live music which was weekly also.

The staff go above and beyond their supportive and caring role for my dad. They communicate regularly with me and my siblings and always put his health needs first. I’ve worked in care homes over the years and would highly recommend TNM as a place of comfort and safety with lots of activities for residents.
They also demonstrate excellent dementia knowledge and support and listen to your views and suggestions.

The care provided by all staff was exemplary. Our mum's every need was attended to: health, care, social. As a family, any views we had were listened to and promptly acted upon. The accommodation was very comfortable and uplifting. The meals and snacks were top-class. Staff went out of their way to
make birthdays and other special occasions lovely. When our mum was dying the care was second to none.

A very caring and considerate team at TNM, providing high standards of care and treating residents with dignity and respect.
