My father initially went into Rosewood House Care Home for respite care in November. He decided to stay and is now a permanent resident. I cannot praise the team highly enough for their help and care. In very difficult circumstances they have looked after my father and I cannot explain enough what a
relief it is for me knowing he is cared for 24/7. Every single member of staff from management have been brilliant, kind and understanding. They genuinely care for all of the residents and nothing is ever too much trouble. It is an inclusive atmosphere and everybody is treated with respect and dignity which is really important.

My dearest friend lives in the care home and receives excellent care and support from all at Rosewood House. I witnessed a physio session and felt reassured that my friend will improve their mobility. The manager is always happy to discuss and support my friend and also his family. I would recommend
this place to anyone who needs 24-hour care.

My mum moved into Rosewood House in late 2021. I had visited another home not too far from Rosewood, l wasn't impressed with the lack of interest from the staff and just didn't get a good feeling. I then arranged to visit Rosewood for a tour of the home and was instantly put at ease by all staff. I
didn't need to wait to make a decision, I told them mum would love it! Since then I can honestly say all staff are still amazing, they treat all residents with respect and I'm so glad my mum moved in. I'm always kept updated with either emails or phone calls regarding everything from covid to mum's hospital appointments and more. The rest of the family visited shortly after mum moved in and said I'd definitely made a great decision, which of course was a huge relief to me. Can't thank all staff enough.

My dad came here for 8 days of respite care. The management team and the staff were very supportive throughout the process, including at some stressful times when I had problems getting a PCR test and some extra medication.
I had stumbled on some old reviews from when it was run by a different management
company, which left me feeling anxious. However, my mind was put at ease after speaking on the phone to a staff member and being invited in to be shown around the home by another staff member. All the team were efficient and professional and I was able to visit Dad a few times during his stay.
Dad would have liked more men to have had conversations with, but I have been told that when Dad returns here for full-time care, this would be taken into consideration and he might be moved to a different ward.
When Dad does go into full-time care, I would like him to go here.

We moved my mother-in-law from another care home. She is now settling into Hawthorn Green really well. She often remarks on how well she is cared for and how kind staff are. My husband and I are now both very relieved to know that everything possible is being done to ensure our mother/mother-in-law

When my mum became too weak to live at home, I visited many homes in the borough of Tower Hamlets. Hawthorn Green was the one that we both felt we liked the best. Since Hamberley Care Homes has taken over the changes have been amazing. The refurbishment has been astonishing, the transformation has given
all residents a luxurious beautiful place to stay. The manager is very personable and approachable and cares. The staff that look after my mum go above and beyond their job role. The cleanliness in the home really stands out for me and is really important especially in these times. The home always smells wonderful and everyone is extremely friendly. I love the garden, it was a big feature for me when coming to Hawthorn Green. I would recommend this home to anyone, I feel very safe knowing there is always a nurse in her unit and supported by a wonderful team of doctors. My mum is very happy and well looked after, and this is all we can wish for our loved ones.

I am extremely pleased with the care and attention my father is receiving at the home. All the staff from Admin, reception and cleaners are so very kind and welcoming. My father is settling in well and looks so healthy. The carers on his ward are all amazingly kind but my very special thanks have to
go to 2 members of staff, in particular, Dad loves them, they go beyond the call of duty. I cannot express my thanks to all the carers and staff you are all so kind and dedicated. I was extremely anxious about placing Dad in a care home, you all reassured me and spoke to me in a calming way that eased my concerns. I would not hesitate to place a loved one in this very special, unique home.

Since being a resident I can confirm Mum has been treated with respect and dignity and all her personal needs are being met and since being in there she is so much more contented as she has social interaction with other staff and residents.

My Dad was a resident on Maple ward for eight weeks and received excellent care during this time. The staff went above and beyond with his care and with the help and advice they gave me and my family. The food was very good considering my Dad was a fussy eater and the room was always clean. Very happy
with this care home.

Hawthorn Green is a wonderful care home and my mum has really settled in.
The staff in Bramble Unit are exceptional, as are all the entertainment team.
Not having full interaction with other units, I know that all staff have always said hello and have been welcoming too.

Overall the staff are very good and they do a great job. I think that they could do with some help when it comes to mealtimes as they are busy serving meals and feeding some patients and that takes them away from patients that need their help if they need changing or being made more comfortable.

I think this care home is very good. My aunt looks and is a lot better now than before. I think this home is very good for her. The care workers are very nice, the rooms are nice. I cannot say a bad word about this care home. You don't have to worry because anything here is so good, it gives you peace
of mind. I would recommend this care home to anyone. All the people are so nice.

I find Hawthorn Green a cheerful place. The staff are always thoughtful in as much as they treat patients with forethought anticipating their needs, always a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Food seems very good and if someone doesn't want to eat at a particular time it is offered
later. There are activities i.e skittles, bingo, films and others. The residents I see seem reasonably happy, considering their situation. Music and singing most people seem to join in. The level of care in Hawthorn Green is very good.

I am the next of kin of a resident and I find the staff to be friendly and conscientious. My friend has vascular dementia and he is treated with care and respect. He is settled and content and recognises that the staff care for him very well. He has been at the home for 15 months now and I am very

My sister-in-law has been at the Home for about 2 months. Initially they expected her to die within a week. She is still there. I visit her about once a fortnight, but have missed a month as my wife and I have been away. On previous visits I have to admit I only wanted her to pass away. Its so hard
on her children, her grand children her sister and us. This time a miracle happened. She was in the day room looking at TV. She cannot talk but she enjoyed the songs I sang her that were popular when she and my brother were courting - I must admit my grandchildren have less good taste. When my wife asked her something, she could not say "no" but she clearly made the no gesture with her hand. She is enjoying life and long may she do so. My respect for the boss and all the staff is immense. They work hard, they care so well for the residents, they enjoy their colleague's company. They are happy and make the residents happy. Thank you. I found it hard in the questionnaire below not to put excellent for everything.
