He has advanced Alzheimer's. Last month was his 69th birthday. Florence and her staff on the 3rd floor have consistently given a high service of care to my friend. They threw a party for his birthday, as they do every year. He has one-on-one care during the day. He is always immaculately clean, and seems calm, relaxed and as contented as he can be. He is well looked after both physically, and spiritually by the Community of sisters, and the chaplain, and is clearly loved, cared for, and respected by all the care and support staff. Whilst I wish my friend was not in the position he is in, Nazareth House is, without doubt, the very best place for him to be, and where, I know, he is receiving the best care possible. The manager of Nazareth House is outstanding and I have seen the excellent relationship she has with staff and residents alike. The reception staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful too
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and heartfelt review.
It is wonderful to hear that your friend has been so happy and well cared for during his time with us. We are delighted that you recognise the dedication of our team, the Sisters and Father John,...
My dad, Alan, stayed at Nazareth for two weeks to provide his wife with two weeks respite. I was so impressed by the staff and the level of care that my dad received. The staff are kind, fun, attentive, loving and committed. The garden was beautiful and it was lovely to be able to pop in and out of the chapel. My dad was incredibly happy there and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the garden chatting away. There were plenty of activities throughout the week; a barbecue, singing, yoga and much more. Thank you so much to team Nazareth - Rose, Serena, Andrea, Arun and many more. Amy

My father has been a resident at the home for almost 10 years. We chose it because of its reputation for providing compassionate, person-centred care, and that has certainly been our experience.
My father is a stroke survivor with complex physical and communication needs, so caring for him requires patience, understanding and kindness. We are incredibly grateful for the support he has received over the years.
I would like to give a special thank you to Beauty and Ramona, and to the wonderful support team, including Mary, Anish, Jasminka and Lilly, whose compassion and dedication have made such a positive difference. I would also like to thank Jutta and the management team for their kindness and leadership.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks go to all the nurses, carers and support staff. Although I cannot mention everyone by name, your professionalism, warmth and care have meant a great deal to our family.

My Aunt is currently a resident in the home and has been for 10 years. In all the years that I have been visiting I have always found from the moment that I arrive to the time that I leave that level of care and attention is always to the highest standards. It is obvious from the outset that all staff from reception to the management and all the carers have but one goal and that is to provide the most homely feeling throughout the building putting the needs of all the residents and their families at the forefront of everything that they do, treating everyone with dignity and affection catering for all of their needs, which enhances the quality of every visit.

From day one, every member of staff showed genuine kindness, patience, and respect. My aunt was treated with dignity at all times, and it was clear that her comfort, wellbeing, and emotional needs truly mattered to everyone involved in her care.
All staff without exception, went above and beyond, not because they had to, but because they genuinely care. The environment was warm, calm, and reassuring, which gave our family enormous peace of mind during what could have been a very difficult period. Knowing she was safe, supported, and cared for with such compassion meant everything to us. We will always be deeply thankful to the entire team at Nazareth House for their dedication, humanity, and professionalism. Their care made a real difference to my aunt's life and to ours. I cannot recommend this care home high enough.

My mother has been in NH for just over a decade. She now needs 24hrs care. I am totally appreciative of the excellent care that she receives daily. She spends most of her time in the common room. The kindness. attentiveness + the skills of the staff are such a feature, as is the dignity which she is affected. We are truly lucky to be able to have her last years in such a wonderful, caring + supportive environment.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're so pleased to hear that your mum continues to feel safe, supported, and well cared for here at Nazareth House. Her last days were spent in the loving care of Nazareth House. There are no words to express the beauty of the compassion she received from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are peaceful. The entire establishment literally glows with Christian piety and simple humanity. Both are rare and precious.
Ignore the view from the street. Enter the gates and discover within an atmosphere of compassion; quiet efficiency and even fun. We should all be blessed to spend our final days and nights in the care of Nazareth House. Perhaps the greatest gift the staff provides to their patients, is calm reassurance. To visitors; it's a genuine welcome and instinctive understanding of the needs of individuals.

Meet the Team (2)

My career started in hospitality and I was a general manager in four and five-star hotels, with a master's degree in hospitality management before moving into care over 9 years ago.
I completed my degree in management in Health & Social Care and have been a registered manager in nursing & dementia homes since 2016.I am also a Dementia Champion for the Alzheimer’s Society and enjoy introducing relatives and team members to Dementia in the most positive way possible.
My goal at work every day is to make sure every resident is happy and enjoying a stimulating, fulfilling life. I think the only way to achieve this is by making sure that each resident receives truly individualised care from people who’ve invested time in really getting to know them, their needs and their experiences.
It’s also important to me that family members are happy with the care that their loved one is receiving. Getting great feedback from relatives is very rewarding for everyone on our team.
Outside of work I enjoy cooking, baking and football and am an avid Liverpool supporter.
I also love travelling to new places to explore and experience the local culture, people & food. I am proud to have visited over 30 countries all over the world so far.
I also love spending time with family and take every opportunity to visit them.

Cathy qualified as a Registered Nurse in October 1988.
