The staff have not only made my father feel welcome, loved, cared for and respected, they've done the same for us as a family. This is truly home from home. My father is considered very much part of their family. He's settled in very quickly and comfortably. The meals are an excellent variety and choice
and, considering he's fairly fussy, he's eaten everything. I'm very thankful he's got the best care and attention he needs for the latter stage of life. He's allowed independence and where support needed done with dignity and respect.
Anyone considering Nazareth for their loved one, I truly would wholeheartedly recommend. I can honestly say every team member there carries out their role effectively, with care, attention and understanding. It's a very happy environment and really inclusive too. Thank you for your support, it's greatly appreciated.

Nazareth House took care of my mother for the past 18 months. They provided a place where she was cared for with love support and friendship. She enjoyed the amazing views from her room, and reception areas, taking pleasure from the well-maintained grounds with mature trees and sweeping lawns. The large
windows meant that she could see all of the above even when she was not able to go outside. She benefitted from living such a loving place with a strong Christian ethos.

This is an odd little story. My Auntie had a fall and sought respite care at Nazareth House. As it transpired, she was in a strange mental state so, ultimately, we were only there a couple of hours and she chose to leave. I must state quite clearly that this was on her part, and nothing to do with
Nazareth House itself.

What I can say is that I met some amazingly good and caring people during this time who did their absolute utmost to make sure my Auntie was cared for in a brief time. Specifically Rose and Emma, who blew me away with their understanding and sympathy.

So that's that - I'm sorry my Auntie didn't stick it out (due to her own issues) but 5* and beyond to this place for the empathy they showed.

THANKS!

My mum was very unhappy when she was first placed in this home. Mum caused a few disturbances in the first months, kept calling 999, saying she had been kidnapped. But, in the last few months, I think mum has settled very well and seems a lot happier. The staff are so patient and good with mum. I am
personally relieved and happy as to how much mum has settled in. A very big thank you to all.

My mother passed away recently after spending five years of her life at Nazareth House. I can't express how grateful I am for the excellent care she received there. The team of staff are just wonderful, from the Manager to the Nurses to the Carers to the Kitchen staff, they are all so caring and treated
my mum with such love and dignity. The palliative care at the end of her life was excellent, supported by loving pastoral care from the Nuns for my mum and our family. I can't recommend Nazareth House highly enough, it is 5 star.

My wife spent her last eleven months in Nazareth House, Cheltenham. She lived with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and increasing frailty over the year.
I don't believe she could have been better looked after than by the team of carers and nurses at the home. I visited her nearly every day of her stay
there and witnessed the exemplary care that she and the other residents received.
There did not seem to be any noticeable turnover of staff. In fact, they all knew her and she them. By the end, I was on first-name terms with most of the staff.
It was a privilege to have known the staff and I would have no hesitation in recommending Nazareth House to anyone.

From the moment of my arrival until my departure I was overwhelmed by the exceptional care and compassion of all the staff. The house is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Much is done to engage the long-term residents to keep them active in mind and body. The presence of a place of prayer - the
Chapel - is a huge bonus; it's life and prayerful witness is at the heart of all that is done here. Being here is a wonderful experience - a true family atmosphere where all are welcomed and treasured.

My father has been immobile for a couple of years, during which time, my mother and two privately funded carers have kept him in the best physical shape they could, knowing full well what issues a complete lack of mobility can bring.
In late June/early July, he attended Nazareth House for two weeks
respite care. Despite, being at NH for a short space of time, he returned home with a pressure sore.
It is truly staggering that Nazareth House allowed this to happen, and their levels of "care" need serious questioning.
If you happen to be considering having them look after a loved one, you may like to think again.
