It was always a worry for me having to move my Mum into a nursing home but after her last fall it was apparent that she needed more care.
This home is like home from home for her and also us when we visit. The people who work there are truly amazing, they always have a kind word and a smile and nothing
is to much trouble for them.
The garden is beautiful and i always take her for tea and cake outside, we could be in the middle of the countryside and who would think we are in the centre of Cardiff.
My Mum enjoys the activities and is always encouraged to join in with everything. Everyone calls her Mrs Tea Pot because she loves her cup of tea.
Mum has a lovely room which i have decorated with all her pictures and she has a lovely view of the garden.
Thank you everyone for putting my mind at rest that she is being so well cared for.
You are truly angels.

Mum went into Nazareth House Cardiff and she loves it there , mums got all her faculties but she's bed ridden and needs to be fed , mum has got to know all the staff and loves the care she's given. Mum was brought up just up the road from Nazareth House and knows the area well. Mum tells me she feels
so safe there and couldn't be happier. Everyone is so polite and friendly towards us as a family and we're all glad that the decision was made for mum to be expected.

My mum has just become a full time resident at Nazareth House and my family could not be happier with the service we have received and the care my mum is getting. She is so settled and happy with the move. The care my sister and I have witnessed has been amazing and the staff have been so friendly and
professional with all of us.


I also so pleased with the new app as I am not local and I love the daily updates and hope to see photos of events as I cannot visit often and this way I get a glimpse of mums new life.


Thank you again for making this hard transition so easy for us especially my mum. She has gone from being withdrawal and to being stimulated and engaged. I only have good things to say.

To start, it is an exceptionally beautiful building with the impressive and glorious church on the first floor that runs regular services and rock concerts is a real plus. The grand rooms that offer lots of entertainment, crafts, films and games, are fantastic. Most of all I praise the staff as they
are truly caring and exceptionally attentive. I relax and have peace of mind that my mum is truly in the best hands.
The care home manager is very professional, kind and runs a tight ship.

My friend is now in Nazareth House having suffered strokes which have medically caused him to be unable to walk and sleep a lot. I have found the care staff excellent when I have visited. I have offered tea and biscuits during the mornings but not meals. The home is clean and welcoming.

When we knew that my dad would require residential nursing care we were anxious about finding the right place for him and ensuring that he was properly cared for. We needn't have worried because as soon as he went into Nazareth House we knew that it was the right place for him. The staff were lovely
and the care he received was excellent. His room was well-equipped, and he was at his happiest when we were able to take him outside into the beautiful gardens.

My mother was a resident on the Nursing Floor for over 5 years, before she died last month at the grand old age of 98. Mum had lost her mobility and suffered from dementia. The staff there provided very good care for Mum throughout, combining highly professional nursing with loving and supportive care.
The warm, kind and skilled way they all operated ensured Mum was comfortable and happy. They ensured she was up and involved in activities and meals everyday, whenever fit to do so. Mum was always treated with dignity and respect.
The wider group of staff of Nazareth House and the volunteers were equally friendly and helpful and provided activities which brought great satisfaction and pleasure, especially the quizzes, games, singing and taking her out into the lovely gardens. The open and welcoming approach to visitors was very helpful in enabling her disparate family to see her.
Thank you to everyone at Nazareth House for making Mum's last years so happy and comfortable.

I have always found the staff at Nazareth House to be very kind and caring and willing to help out should any problems occur. The activities are always well attended and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The food is very good and varied. The kindness of the staff, the chapel, the lovely gardens
and the grotto have all contributed to my brother being able to adjust to living in the care home after he had to leave his own home.

My mother has been a resident for more than two years. They have an 'open door' policy and I am able to visit at any time. Residents special needs are always taken into consideration and all residents I have seen are always treated with care and respect. The carers take extra care to include all residents
in any activities taking place. The home is currently undertaking some decorating/rewiring etc. and every effort is made to avoid disruption to other residents and visitors.

I needed respite care after spending nearly eight weeks in hospital following a fall. Nazareth House gave me the best professional, expert and caring help I needed. Always there night and day and with a kind heart. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I always be grateful to Nazareth House.

The care provided by the home is excellent. Residents are treated with dignity, and it is a very friendly, happy environment. The food is excellent, and there is a choice for residents. Activities are well organised, including sports sessions and choir. If there are any concerns, these are dealt with
immediately by the general manager. The home has beautiful gardens, and residents are encouraged to use them. Facilities and rooms are very clean, and there is a homely feeling about the house.

A good friend of mine was a resident at Nazareth House for about 18 months.
Previously he lived on his own and was refusing the care he very much needed.
We eventually persuaded him that he needed on going care after
being found collapsed.
He was reluctant but eventually agreed the way forward. Thanks to links to Nazareth House this was his choice.
He settled in quite quickly thanks to the wonderful staff, priests and nuns.
They cared for him and we were able to rest a lot easier,
His named carer was exceptional, the staff who delivered care got to know him and worked at his pace.
The manager was great, very approachable, his diet improved they worked with his GP and hospital appointments.
Thank you so much for caring for my friend.

The home is friendly, kind and provides a very good service dealing with all aspects of care for my mother. they are tolerant, understanding and patient and the premises clean and spotless. Since admission to Nazareth House following a discharge from hospital after two weeks, physically improved dramatically.

The standard of nursing care is excellent. Attention is paid to her oral and personal hygiene e.g. nails are trimmed and hair brushed. The ward sister is very professional and very caring and this is reflected in the staff.

It is a clean, efficient residential and care home. My mother was nursed here until she passed away in May 2015. The care and love shown by the staff was amazing. My father is now becoming confused and the staff show so much patience and care. They call if any problems and are efficient in every way.
They have their own GP who is on call 24 hours.

My mother was a resident here for a number of years and I always left her safe in the knowledge that she was well cared for. Her room was spacious we were to able take items of furniture etc to make it more homely. The old house is beautiful with large reception rooms and where else in Cardiff would
