Nazareth House - Manchester

Both my wife and I are very happy with staff and Nazareth House.Made to feel a part of a big family. Care even extends to myself. I recently was ill and not able to contact anyone , because I visit every I was missed . Staff went out of there way to contact me to reassure my wife.ABOVE AND BEYOND.

The family couldn't be happier with the care and stay that our mum received whilst at Nazareth House.

The staff were amazing with our mum we couldn't fault them.

The staff worked pretty hard on entertainment and raising money for the home. It was a very nice touch that the staff came around visiting the residents with Christmas gifts.

The staff are so caring and thoughtful and nothing is too much. They are constantly fund raising so that they can provide shows and activities for all the residents.

All staff in Nazareth House are very friendly and welcoming. The care my Dad received was excellent and I cannot praise the caring staff enough . They are all lovely and attentive with the residents making the atmosphere feel so welcoming . There are many activities for the residents to engage with one another . I would highly recommend Nazareth House for anyone looking for care for a loved one .

There is no perfect care home. My Mum transferred last minute to Nazareth House from hospital on end of life care after a fall at the long-term care home she loved. She didn't want to be there she wanted to go to her old care home. But it wasn't long before the friendliness of the staff, the care and the activities changed her mind. The staff were always respectful and caring to my Mum and to me; explaining matters along the way. Friendships were formed with the staff closest to her, like family. From the lovely people on reception to the lovely nurses, carers, cleaners, cook, they are a good team doing their very best to make residents comfortable. 18mths on sadly my Mum passed away in her bed and I could only be virtually present but her care family were at her bedside. Nazareth House is a big place but once you're there it feels small and friendly; as in life, it's what you make it. I've since visited. God bless them all xx

This is an odd little story. My Auntie had a fall and sought respite care at Nazareth House. As it transpired, she was in a strange mental state so, ultimately, we were only there a couple of hours and she chose to leave. I must state quite clearly that this was on her part, and nothing to do with Nazareth House itself.

What I can say is that I met some amazingly good and caring people during this time who did their absolute utmost to make sure my Auntie was cared for in a brief time. Specifically Rose and Emma, who blew me away with their understanding and sympathy.

So that's that - I'm sorry my Auntie didn't stick it out (due to her own issues) but 5* and beyond to this place for the empathy they showed.

More than happy with the care Mum has received after a minor fall in her room. Staff are very caring and it is evident that Mum is well cared for and staff genuinely care for her.

Staff were also very vigilant and pro-active when Mum had a health issue. They were attentive and very mindful that myself and my Sister were very concerned. The Nurse who attended to Mum contacted us everyday with updates this helped alleviate stress.

There is a very caring atmosphere in the home.

Things were a little bumpy for the first few weeks but the Deputy Manager got involved and was so good at helping mum to settle and making sure that the food was right for her. In mums final week, the staff were amazing and looked after our whole family while we sat with her every night and day. Her last days were peaceful and beautiful. Thank you.

I have never been disappointed in the activities here. I come to many and it's so enjoyable and the residents and staff are caring, fun and giving.

Also had modern equipment with touch screens for residents too. A very enlightening experience. Good engagement with the local community taking on charity participants.

When l visit Nazareth House with my husband l am always impressed with the reception we get and the overall hospitality of the home. The staff are excellent and it is clear to see how dedicated they are towards the residents and their families. The home is spotlessly clean and beautifully presented.

My regular visits to my mum never leave me in doubt about the care my mum and the residents receive from the management and staff. Everything about the facility is excellent and l am always impressed. Thank you.

Very well-managed, friendly staff who care greatly for the residents. Since the new management have taken over the atmosphere is happy and welcoming. My mother has found it very hard at times but all the staff have supported Mum throughout her stay and especially caring for her and my father during his illness and whilst he was on end of life. The dignity and compassion during the hardest times were very much appreciated. The management has worked hard to create a home where Mum feels like the staff and residents are like family.

My mum is cared for really well. Since Covid, we have got to know the carers better, which helps with my mum's care. They know her likes and dislikes. Her health is checked regularly as well.

Since the arrival of the interim manager, the entire home is a far better home for residents and staff where the staff are appreciated and valued. If and when staff do extra ie: work half a day on their day off it is noted and given their time back.
