My first role here was as a Care Assistant on Nights and I also did some Act up Senior, I then went onto Reception, Senior Receptionist and then Business Support. In this I support the Home and Management in all aspects of Administration.
I have currently taken on a new role as Care Home Administrator, I will continue to do the tasks from my original Role as Business Support, but I will also take on some Finance work, I have been delving into Finance issues previously and find it very rewarding to solve issues and produce a solution to any problems that might arise. Hi, my name is Maxine Watson and I am one of Nazareth House, Manchester's Activity Coordinators. I have been here for 7 years and absolutely love being part of enriching our residents' lives. I have had training in dementia and enjoy learning, trying new things and above all having some fun with the residents, seeing their smiles is everything.
Heather has joined us recently as an activities co-ordinator. She tells us that she is really enjoying her new role and especially loves the way the residents ‘pull her leg’. She has brought lots of new ideas and we look forward to seeing these come to fruition.

I trained for catering and confectionary in Aberdeen college and I received a level 5 at Morecambe College when I was in Nazareth house Lancaster, Then I went to Edge Hill University and did a foundation degree in Vulnerable adults when I was stationed in Crosby Liverpool and I have also attended Loughborough University and did a management course.
My name is Mary Kilcourse I came up to Nazareth House Manchester when I was 15 and entered with the nuns at the age of 18 and have been here ever since and that is over 60 years. I am the Pastoral Care Minister for Nazareth House Manchester and have received the care assistant course and 18 months of SCN. I have been religiously going to Lourdes every year as a helper and feel very honoured to have been able to help in this and all my roles as I also help and care for the Sisters and our resident Priests as well.
This is Charlie & Luna, they have been at the home since they were 8 weeks old and are now just over 1yr old. Their job is to keep residents company and give a home from home feel to Nazareth House as many of our residents have grown up with pets.
