I find the staff to be very welcoming and pleasant. The communal areas are well staffed and the food is fresh and varied. Wilma, the manager, is very engaging and professional in regard to my mothers welfare, as are the rest of her team. My mother is very happy at the home. I have never had an issue
with Trinity Court Nursing Home, regarding the care of my mother.

After losing my brother in June this year I felt I ought to contact Trinity Court to let them know how much I appreciated the care that was given to him.
I used to call the home at 2pm every day to speak to him, so at that time even now,
my thoughts are with him.
I felt the staff and I worked together
to try and make his life as happy as was possible.
I looked forward to my visits and will always be grateful to know that he was well cared for.
I was able to speak to his doctor and I could always contact Trinity Court if I had a worry.
Sometimes we chatted to other residents. I don't know this particular resident's name but she always complimented me on what I was wearing and always made me smile.
I know that it is not always easy to care for patients with multiple health issues. My brother needed 24 hours care but I felt confident that all his needs were met and his wishes were understood.
I think about him often and will miss him always.

I wouldn't recommend the care home in all honesty. My father was there for a year and a half. Health massively declined, when it was fine while he was with me. ongoing health conditions were not monitored properly, and the correct services i.e ambulance was not called when he had refused to eat for
days, and he unfortunately passed away last month. The management is extremely money oriented and called me asking to pay money that was owed a week after I had lost my mum, overall very insensitive in the way that things are handled. All in all I have not had a good experience and would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I don't believe the cost justifies the level of care received.

My experience has been very positive, the staff are friendly and caring, always approachable. My mum seems a lot calmer and the staff love her. The cleaning staff are on the ball, as are the maintenance people - overall very satisfied.

Overall, myself and daughter are pleased with the level of care our person receives. The staff are friendly, helpful and very supportive of our person.
She has a lovely sized room, very clean, and she enjoys the food very much. If we ever had a concern or query, we know we can approach the manager
as well as the staff, and the outcome will be to our satisfaction.

My mother was at Trinity Court for 6 years until her death in March. She received kind, supportive care and despite her dementia, blindness, profound hearing loss and diabetes survived into her 90s. I spent most of my week visiting my mother so was able to observe the attention and thoughtful care she
received. I went on home outings and joined in activities or was sent pictures. Not seeing her during COVID was tough but the home kept me informed and tried to put her online but her disabilities meant she didn't know I was able to see her. During those 6 years she didn't get infections or bed sores. The home kept me informed immediately if there were any potential problems. The home has needed a complete refurbishment for some years, and the frustrations of group living when it was difficult at times to find particular pieces of clothing, especially nighties, fades into insignificance compared to the loving way she was treated,

Although when I first visited my father, who has had a stroke/dementia, at the nursing home I wasn't too sure what to expect, yet the room/bathroom/facilities and the nursing home care staff were excellent. They also provided my father with specific Indian vegetarian meals in the evening so I would
just like to say a personal thank you.

My relative moved into this home before Christmas. She has severe dementia and has been treated with care and kindness. I am always welcomed and can ask questions. Everyone is friendly and has time for us.
It's bright and airy.
Unfortunately, she will not get out of bed so I know nothing of activities.
She appears happy though.

Generally, I am very impressed. Staff work hard under very trying and sometimes difficult conditions with the patients, which the Director, Manager/Matron and staff attempt to address willingly and readily. Observations raised by me are listened to sympathetically then actioned and feedback given. Support
staff, cooks, laundry operators, cleaners and maintenance, occupational therapist and activity staff etc are approachable, very friendly and willingly give assistance when and where required, without reservation. The nursing staff are 'Gems' and along with all others mentioned cannot be praised highly enough. No nursing home can ever please or give what everyone feels they should give. But Trinity Court does attempt to do this

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.209)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.209) out of 10 for Trinity Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.209 for Trinity Court is calculated as follows: ( (45 Excellents x 5) + (11 Goods x 4) + (2 Poors x 2) + (9 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 67 Ratings = 4.209
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Trinity Court is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 50 registered maximum number of service users is 10. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 10 = 0.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
