All members of staff have been so kind with caring for my mum, attentive to her needs, knowing through her sounds and facial expressions what she needs and how best to meet her needs.

We as a family felt so supported and kept up to date with any changes my mum experienced; so grateful with the care

provided, never had to worry.

Words cannot express our family's heartfelt thanks for the care provided to our mum for 3 years.

My grandmother spent her final years at Ogilvy Court, and-like many families-I was initially anxious about choosing a care home for someone so precious to us. I needn't have worried.

From day one, the staff treated Gran with genuine affection and, above all, dignity. They offered varied activities,

stayed in regular contact about her health, and responded promptly to the few concerns we raised. On her birthdays they even decorated a room so our family could gather and celebrate; her 100th earlier this year was particularly special thanks to their extra efforts.

As the main family member overseeing her care, I'd like to say on behalf of us all how grateful we are for the love, attention, and professionalism shown to Gran. Ogilvy Court made her final years comfortable, happy, and filled with respect. Thank you.

The whole staff at the care home is friendly and very caring. My mother has very high health needs, and the nurses and staff at the home have been treating her with the utmost love and affection. The whole atmosphere is of a happy and loving through the team.
I am welcome to meet my mom every day,
and they provide me with updates of her daily condition as it changes every day.90% of the staff speaks Mum's language, which makes it easier for her to communicate. I wish I had found this care home earlier. Thanks very much. Ogilviy Court !

Since my mother has been at Ogilvy Court. I have met kind responsible reassuring, caring staff and management, who take pride in their work. She has been there 3 years. Nothing is every too much to ask, any minor queries and concerns are dealt with in a professional manner.
The fact that no agency
staff are used allows the carers to get to know the residents on a one to one. Even the maintenance and cleaning staff give my mother and I 100% respect.

My dear wife found her last home at Ogiivy Court in March 2022, and she stayed there, wonderfully cared for, until she passed in early January 2025. It brought me such peace of mind knowing she was so well looked after. The staff there were, quite simply, fantastic. Every single person, from the carers
to the kitchen staff, treated her with such warmth and dignity. It wasn't just professional care; it felt like genuine affection. I remember one lovely carer even brought my wife back a little present from her holiday - it was such a thoughtful gesture and really shows the kind of people they are. I was always made to feel so welcome whenever I visited, which meant the world to me. The food was always good, and I never had to worry about my wife's meals. If I ever had a concern, no matter how small, it was addressed and sorted out immediately. They truly listened and acted. It wasn't just a care home; it was a loving community that became an extension of our family.

The staff at Ogilvy Court put residents first. My dad was so worried about going into nursing care but his experience has been outstanding as the staff at Ogilvy Court do everything they can to support him.
They look after him like I would - and both myself and my family are so grateful and are in
endless gratitude every day about the care that he receives. He is looked after so well and all the staff always go the extra mile to meet his needs. He is safe, and loves it there - and most importantly he is happy, so a huge thank you to the management and staff.

Compared to how my mom came, she is much better now. Before coming, she was lonely, depressed and not coping well in the community. She had no eating plan because she would forget to eat, and this would go on for days, but after moving into Ogilby Court, she looked well cared for.

My granddad went to Ogilvy Court a few years ago, and it was a difficult decision to make as it is always a difficult decision to make to allow strangers to care for your loved ones. Over the years, I have been pleased; they keep me updated on resident of the day and also on pertinent events relating
to him.

I have two friends who currently live at Ogibly Court. They are lucky to be here because they speak very well about living at Ogilvy Court.
They are lucky to be in a safe place to be getting the care and health treatment they receive at Ogilvy Court.
My friends look happy and nice. I love to see
them laugh and joke with the staff when it happens - that's very good.
I have admiration for the staff. My friends would be very confident to tell me anything, and they have never spoken badly about Ogilvy Court.

My father has been in this home for approx 16 months now, and I am pleased with the level of care he receives. My father is not an easy person to deal with, and the staff try their best to take care of all his needs. A great deal of humility is required in order to maintain order concerning my father,
and the staff seem to have that in abundance. They always take time to talk to you and fill you in with any information they can provide. It's nice to see people take pride in what can only be prescribed as a very difficult job at times.

The staff keep me informed about my aunt regularly and always lets me know if there are any issues or problems. Looking after her is challenging as she has advanced dementia and is nonverbal; however, she is always clean and well-fed, and the staff look after her very well. They cater for her love of
music.

I hold Power of Attorney for a lady and friend of the family in her mid-90s that has been in Ogilvy Court for a few years.
The staff are very friendly and communicates with me weekly on how she is doing, and she is often made "resident of the week"
Since the lady moved into Ogilvy Court, I have noticed
her physical health has improved a lot, and she is eating well and engaging in the activities that the home organises. The main thing is she seems very happy and content there and grateful for everything the staff are doing for her.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.454)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.454) out of 10 for Ogilvy Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.750 for Ogilvy Court is calculated as follows: ( (84 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.75
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.704 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Ogilvy Court is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 registered maximum number of service users is 11.2. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 11.2 = 0.804
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
