Orgivly Court care staff are friendly and courteous. They always keep me updated on my mother's progress and day-to-day routine, which as a family, we appreciate.
The care home and grounds are clean. My mother enjoys the activities that are arranged in Orgivly Court. My mother finds the meals prepared
for her very filling, healthy and delightful.

Making the decision to put the care of your relative into another's hands is one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. What makes it bearable is knowing that those who are caring for her are doing such a fantastic job that I can actually sleep at night.
Simply put, Mum is thriving at Ogilvy
Court. When I visit, I see the way she interacts with staff, the way they are always cheerful and treat her with respect, dignity, and above, all total care - it's so reassuring. They put her welfare and needs at the heart of decisions - and not just her either. You can really see how well they know their residents and how much they care about making sure they receive quality care. One of the best things about the care home is that they keep me updated about Mum - that's important to me.
I want to thank the whole team for everything they're doing to make Mum's quality of life the very best it can be. They make a real difference, and it hasn't gone unnoticed.

My cousin has been there for some time, and the staff have been wonderful looking after her.
They always keep in touch with me and update me on any issues with her.
I visit when possible and always find the home nice and clean and my cousin very comfortable.
I am asked every time do I wish for any
tea/coffee.
Over the years, I have known some of the staff to be very courteous and helpful when I visit.

You have been looking after my friend for some time now. His room is a good size and kept clean, and the food I've seen looks a good standard, as far as I have seen on my visits to see him, and as far as I can see he is happy.

The home is well staffed by a team who are caring and supportive, and great care is taken to ensure continuity of care and familiar faces. I am delighted to say my aunt continues to be very happy and content. We, her immediate family, note the confidence my aunt has in those caring for her. The team
go the extra mile to ensure that she is comfortable and able to enjoy her little treats; she is always treated with respect and dignity. We, too, have every confidence in the level of care, support and kindness afforded to my aunt and appreciate that we receive regular feedback and are able to have direct involvement; we are always made to feel welcome whether in person, by phone or via Skype chats. It's a 'home' in every good sense whilst still delivering professional and timely services. I would recommend Ogilvy Court to others seeking care and comfort in a well-managed environment.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.454)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.454) out of 10 for Ogilvy Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.750 for Ogilvy Court is calculated as follows: ( (84 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.75
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.704 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Ogilvy Court is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 registered maximum number of service users is 11.2. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 11.2 = 0.804
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
