Very friendly and caring staff. I'm always confident that my grandmother is being well looked after. The communication from the staff is excellent and they treat all residents as individuals with great respect.

Elmstead House have welcomed my mum and tried to make her feel comfortable as much as possible. Her room is lovely and she really enjoys having access to the gardens on site, which she visits daily. She also enjoys the live music entertainment that is arranged at Elmstead, plus the day events such as visiting the local circus too. Any changes for mum, the team are good at communicating with me, and everyone is very kind and patient. Also with issues we've come across, the staff have been great at collaborating with me to find a compromise where possible, which I really appreciate.

My mother spent the last 10 months of her life in Barton Lodge Care Home, requiring care and end of life nursing care. Barton Lodge, Laura as manager, & the whole team were brilliant. Such a lovely caring environment. I don't want to name anyone as stand out, because they were all so special, an amazing group of individuals who together made the perfect team. I am so grateful to the whole team for taking such good care of Mum, and for making our visits so welcoming I honestly can't thank them all enough. I don't know how we would have managed without them. Top rating! Thank you.

My dad had been at the home for a couple of weeks and the staff have been brilliant getting him settled in and making sure he is ok. He unfortunately had a minor fall (no fault of the care home) and their response to the fall was brilliant. As his daughter I felt really reassured with the response and subsequent monitoring of him. For me, the staff at the care home have given me a level of comfort that my dad is being well cared for and at the same time keeping me informed on how he is doing.

From the moment my uncle arrived I felt he was looked after with great care and patience. He was made comfortable and at home, I recomend the home, staff and the facilities very highly.

Always found staff tried their best in difficult situations. Thank you all!

As always the care provided for my father is dedicated, trustworthy and consistent. My father is in a safe place and continues to be monitored properly. His eating is regular and blood sugar monitored I am updated constantly by all the team on my father's wellbeing. Manager - since my father arrived at the care home Janice has been a tower of strength and guidance to myself.

My mum has been to Collinson House twice now for respite care to enable me to have a break. On both occasions the staff were friendly, helpful and caring. A shout out to Hannah who was very reassuring and caring trying to put both mine and my mums mind at ease so I could have a nice break away. A shout out to Mandy aswell who was very encouraging and the rest of the staff who work very hard. When I picked my mum up she was looking happier and healthier. Thank you for looking after my mum Collinson House and for caring for her, it is so very appreciated.

Very happy with the care and attention my mother is getting from this wonderful Nursing Home. I cannot say more about how happy i am that she is finally settled in this well run Home. The food is delicious and mum enjoys three courses with good choices.

I am extremely happy with the care and support being given to my aunt, who has resided here for well over a year. She enjoys the food and the activities that take place, such as the BBQ the other week. She also feels very safe here, which is excellent as she used to feel very vulnerable when being cared for at home. Her mental capacity has improved as well.

We have now attended several 'get-togethers' including Xmas staff + residents - business meetings, garden partys and most recently my sisters birthday celebration. All of these occasions have been so well carried-out. The organization 'impressive', the food/refreshments excellent. My sisters recent birthday, I can only describe as 'lovingly done'. Her room decorated with bunting, a lovely little get-together in the lounge, and a most spectacular birthday cake (with candles) freshly baked that morning. I know that because I asked the cook while thanking her. Your staff are all to be congratulated on their friendly/personal attitude to their work. It amazes me that so many, from top management down, all seem to greet my sister by her first name. Great, keep up the good work. That 'work' is so valuable to society.

Staff and manager were so helpful and couldn't have asked for better and kind staff every were clean and tidy they have so much patience I dont no how they do the job sometimes william or john as he was called loved all the staff medically yo couldn't have asked for better nurses like all homes they are extremely busy but always had time to listen to his stories x

I came to see Anthony on his birthday 20/7/26. He was very happy, well dressed & clean. I didn't get a chance to see his room as we were in the garden singing happy birthday and listening to music. Staff were great, as always.

Very well ran care home. The team are extremely caring and have been looking after my mum for the past couple of years. She is very happy snd we are very well informed. The team are always attentive and ready to discuss any concerns and always looking for constructive feedbacks.

Excellent staff, always looking after my father and his fly & relatives who visit. The home offers a lot of activities & organise events, which allows my father to stay active & interact with everyone in the house.

Place is clean.

Overall, I am happy to be living here and I am happy with the facilities, The carers check on me regularly.
