I visited my grandmother here and was so happy with how well she looked. The staff were kind, caring, and friendly. The food was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the care was excellent. The manager was helpful and supportive. I felt reassured knowing my grandmother is safe and happy here.
Highly recommended.

In the year my beloved husband lived in this home he always received the most wonderful care, kindness and support. They not only looked after my husband but me also. The end of life care given to him in his last four days was exceptional. I am so very grateful that it was this home in which he went
to live. I can never thank them enough.

From the moment I arrive at Pranam Care Center I know it was the right place for my friend. The warm welcome I received was heartfelt. The home provides outstanding care administer by an excellent management team complemented by very professional team leads and carers. Without exception the staff
are kind, considerate and caring to both residents, family members and visitors alike. Nothing seems too much trouble to them. This makes me very happy knowing that friend and families can now relax knowing that my friend is in safe hands and receiving the best care that seems impossible to cope with at home. There is a very varied menu with excellent food and good activities provided. The home is warm, clean and cosy and the residents seems very happy to be there. I would highly recommend it.

Barton Lodge

from Michael S (Son of Resident) published on 23 April 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father George is a regular respite client and has used Barton Lodge many times.
I find the staff very accommodating and genuine care / nursing staff who take a real interest in the residents.
The environment offers residents many spaces and activities due to its modern layout.
I noticed a great
selection of foods being offered which take into account all residents preferences, cultural and dietary needs.
The staff whilst I recognise work within what sometimes could be considered demanding all seem to enjoy their work and get a long in an inclusive workforce. I suggest the management within the home deliver great management and supervision to the staff.
I would suggest this home for all types of residents needs as they assess and place within a suitable space.
It is very hard to send loved ones into care and I would suggest that you visit the home and maybe send your loved one on a trial basis before decisions are made.
Laura & Rebecca from management are very approachable.

My brother moved into Heatherbrook at the beginning of March, following further deterioration of his health. He has settled well and is happy, safe and well cared for. He can have company when he wants, with various activities available. The food is always good, with plenty of choices. The staff are
all kind, friendly and professional and work hard to make Heatherbrook a home for all their residents. I am delighted that we managed to find my brother a home here and strongly recommend Heatherbrook.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the care and support provided by Pranam, and I cannot speak highly enough of the team and environment they have created.

From the moment you walk in, there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts both residents and visitors at ease. The staff

are genuinely kind, attentive, and compassionate, always going above and beyond to ensure each individual feels valued and comfortable. It's clear that they take the time to build meaningful relationships with residents, treating them with dignity and respect at all times.

The home itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to create a safe and homely environment. Activities are engaging and tailored to residents' interests, helping to promote both physical and emotional wellbeing. It's lovely to see residents smiling, interacting, and truly enjoying their day-to-day lives.
