I would like to share my experience as I know how hard is to be the main person deciding for the loved one care home . I was always concerned thinking that I will never be able to find a good care home for my lovely aunt but the staff at Bluebell helped me with everything. They offered the best experience
possible for us on the first day and nothing was to much to make my aunt happy. Every member of staff took time to help my aunt settle in the first weeks and I can't be more grateful for this . The communication between the home and us grew as the day has passed. After few months now I can definitely say that my aunt has a new loving home where she is cared as she deserves. To the manager and absolutely every member of this amazing staff , thank you . The senior carer on Memory Unit is one of a kind person that every care home must have .

The place is very well run. I was very concerned when my mother came in and the staff put my mind at rest. Everyone is open, honest, super helpful and the heads of teams have been wonderful.
Food is great, the place is spotlessly clean and all the staff show outstanding attention to the residents needs.

I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my nana received during her respite stay at Bluebell Nursing & Residential Home. From the moment she arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure she felt welcomed and comfortable.
The team at Bluebell is nothing short of amazing. They
took the time to reassure my nana, helping her to settle in and feel at home, despite her initial reservations about care homes. Their kindness and understanding made a significant difference and it was heartwarming to see her enjoy her time there.

My Nan has been at Bluebell for a long time.
She has been on all 3 floors.
The staff are wonderful and very caring.
You can see the manager at any time if you have any concerns and they are dealt with straight away.
They have lots of activities and celebrate all occasions in a big party way.
Recently
Halloween was so much fun the staff were dressed up there was music and lovely food it was a good party.
My nan is looked after well and the staff are always there to help you.
My nan is happy at Bluebell which makes me happy.

Bluebell looked after my dad before he died.
And also look after my mum-in-law.
It is a great care home it has always had a caring family feel.
My dad was well cared for before he passed.
And my mother-in-law who has complex needs is looked after well.
I am very happy with the care both have
received.
Great activities great cinema room.
I always feel everyone is approachable.
And you can just walk in anytime and chat with manager.
Nursing floor is where a lot of my time was spent the nurses are amazing.
It's clean welcoming and they do their job well.
I would recommend this care home to anyone.
That's the reason my dad was there.
We had seen the wonderful care they are continuing to give my mum-in-law and wanted him to receive the same.
Which he did.
They Care above and beyond.

My mum has been in Bluebell for 5 years on all 3 floors.
The home has a wonderful family feeling as soon as you walk in.
The home is clean and the staff is approachable and nice.
Management has an open-door policy and it works brilliantly.
Any problems are sorted Immediately.
The entertainment
team are amazing every day there is something going on.
Bingo, darts, karaoke, play your cards right, reminiscing crafts and wonderful coffee morning with scones cakes and a variety of goodies.
We now have a cinema room for residents to watch movies with popcorn and ice cream. On nursing, the nurse and staff are helpful and approachable.
They are not only staff caring for my mum they are my therapist, the help the family also receive is above and beyond.
My mum is on puree food, the chef pipes the food to look like food.
It is a warm caring care home and my mum is very happy here.

Whenever I've asked for help or advice, nothing has been too much bother with staff, they have always been very helpful and friendly.

Mum has been living in Bluebell Nursing & Residential Home since November 2022 and she has been very happy there. The most important part of any home is the staff and the staff here are friendly and they create a relaxed atmosphere. There seems to be a low staff turnover which is always a good sign!
Everywhere is spotless. And also well maintained. It was a difficult emotional decision for Mum to move into a care home, especially as it's an hour and a half away from us but I know she's in good hands at Bluebell.

My mum was a resident at Bluebell Court for nearly 2 years and in that time the care she received was exceptional. The staff, including laundry, cleaners, kitchen and activity staff and office all went out of their wait to make my mum comfortable, cared for and loved. In my mum's final days, they not
only took care of her but us as well. They really couldn't do enough for us all. Anyone who is worried about having to place a loved one in Bluebell Court please don't worry, it really is an amazing care home that our family will always be eternally grateful too.

From the time my mum came to live at Bluebell Nursing & Residential Home, experienced nothing but support, kindness and understanding to myself and all our family through difficult times and also in times of celebration. The home provides all-round wonderful, holistic care with such love it is amazing.
I would like to mention, in particular, the home care manager and the floor manager who have been so kind and supportive but also a big thank you to every single carer who is amazing.

Mum moved to Bluebell Nursing & Residential Home on 2nd May. Within four weeks, she has improved immensely, from being in a chair, slumped and asleep, she is now responsive. Her speech improved also, her awareness of things happening around her is very noticeable. She enjoys taking part in the group
activities. She also joins in with conversations with other residents. She has a number of visitors and they all recognise her overall improvement.
Thank you so much to every member of staff. It is so good to see happy staff too.

Working with DMP Healthcare and leading our caring, talented team here at Bluebell is incredibly rewarding. Our priority is to provide compassionate, individualised care for each resident, ensuring a high standard of service that truly meets their needs.
