Collinson House is situated in the centre of Luton and aims to create an atmosphere which is calm, relaxed and reassuring for older people and those living with dementia.

The home provides residents with a secure, familiar and homely environment including spacious accommodation and modern facilities.

A dedicated team of staff are trained and supervised to provide the highest standard of care while responding sensitively to the evolving needs of the residents within a cherished community.

Residents, care staff, the resident’s doctor and relatives are all given the opportunity to contribute to an agreed care plan. This outlines what the particular needs and wishes of the resident are and establishes the appropriate level of service required.

The home also employs a skilled group of support staff, including cooks, domestics and laundry personnel to enhance the quality of life for each resident.

Dad was in for 2 weeks respite.
He was well looked after & respected by carers.
He had help with showers, was encouraged to leave his room to meet other residents, dad is a bit shy, was made to feel welcome.
He made friends whilst in there.
He said the food was lovely, he didn't want for anything.
He
enjoyed his time there.
Room could do with updating, decorating wise.
Be nice if shower was in his room.

Since my cousin has been here the deputy manager has been great with help with his care and that has not been easy. Because he has been very hard work. They have managed him very well and I am truly happy with all their service and I am truly grateful with all their help.

The staff treat Dad with dignity and respect and are always there to help him. They check on him everytime they pass his room and always help him to the dining room for his meals. He gets on well with them.

Collinson House care home has a lovely special feel to it. It's not a showy place like some, but it is clean, well organised with a relaxed feel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The newly finished dining room is well set and the home has a nice intimate cozy feel about it. I would definitely

Since my mum has moved in here, I have seen her change for the better. She has told me on many occasions how much she loves it here. The staff are lovely and professional at all times. Her safety and security along with her happiness are all taken seriously. She is treated with dignity and respect.

I am very pleased that I chose Collinson House for my aunt to stay at. Everyone is so friendly and she is cared for and looked after in every way possible. I always feel welcome here by all the staff and they always make time for me if I need to discuss anything to do with my aunt. I have visited other
care homes in the area and I have found that Collinson House is the best. I would recommend anybody who is looking for a care home to apply to this one. I have never found any faults with the place and I am happy that my aunt is here.

I cannot fault the care at this care home. The manager, one member of staff in particular, plus all the staff give 100% to all their residents. They work tirelessly to bring comfort to the residents and also look after the relatives when times are difficult. A big thank you to you all.
