Overall Experience
My mother has been here for 2 weeks and she feels very happy.
All the staff have come to know her and are very kind and helpful.
What I have noticed is whenever I visit my mum I look at all the staff how they are behaving with the patient.

I must admit this care home provides excellent service and all the staff are excellent.

I have had a very happy time at Park View.
The care and attention I received have been excellent and I feel very appreciative of it all.
The food has been varied and well presented.
I shall most certainly miss it all.

Thanks to all concerned.

My mother was a resident of Parkview Nursing Home for 15 months during which time her Alzheimer's and physical condition got steadily worse. At all times, the staff at the home were fantastic. My mum was always cared for and loved and was always safe in her surroundings. All the staff, carers, nursing staff, managers, etc. were lovely and very kind to her and to us, her family.
As my mum's medical needs became greater, she was always properly cared for and we were always kept advised of her condition and involved in any decisions that needed to be made. She was always treated with respect and dignity.

If we ever needed to use a Nursing Home again, we would have no hesitation in going back to Parkview.

My dad moved onto the rehab unit after a month in hospital following a fall where he fractured his femur. On his arrival from hospital, he was in a very sorry state but from the moment the staff started caring for him, you could see improvement every time you went in to see him, something that was missing in the hospital. The staff here are a credit to the unit, kind and caring. A clean homely place. Thank you so much.

My mother was taken to Parkview Nursing Home on 12 February - from the moment she arrived and throughout her stay, the kindness and care she was shown by the nursing staff was exceptional and continued until she peacefully passed away.

When you have to make the awful decision to put your loved one in a home, you are very worried where they are going to go.

I had to put my husband in a nursing home as he was very ill. We found Park View Nursing Home. We need not have worried, as we were. They have been marvellous to him. The care and nursing has brought him on so well. He is stronger and myself and family are happy that he is there!

For just over three weeks, I felt the warmth and comfort of this nursing home. My husband and I felt we were part of one big family. Everyone was very accommodating, approachable and very friendly. It was always clean and tidy. My husband was very well looked after. The staff and the admin were always there when you needed them. A lovely, caring place indeed.
