Always find dad clean and tidy and happy. The entertainment is very poor needs to be upped a level more music than television. Management needs to come round and start to mingle with visitors and see if there is more they can do or improve

I am a resident & have been here 30 years. I am very happy here and the staff are very kind and helpfull to me. I also enjoy going to church Shopping Outings and Drum Class every Thursday.

Visit dad when I can, staff always friendly + helpful. Can't say enough about how well they look after him.

We as a family cannot thank the staff enough for their care given to my husband. They gave us peace of mind that he was well cared for. The staff became friends to us all and we miss seeing them on a regular basis. We will never forget each and every one of them.

I am very pleased with the care my wife is receiving.

But a great shout out goes to John the Homes 'chief entertainments officer' who really makes an effort with the residents getting them all included in the activities and his great quizzes that sometimes I will partake but never win. Keep up the great work. Matt

The team ( 2nd floor) took care of our dad with compassion and dignity. The staffs holistic approach to residents was often seen, especially in challenging times when someone appeared confused and agitated.

Dads room was clean and bright and the day room sometimes offered games or music creating a happy and relaxed atmosphere and providing stimulation for residents and visitors alike.

The food choices looked somewhat limited and 'samey', just not very appealing to the eye. As constructive feedback, I do think they could be better thought out in view of the general age of residents and what their long term memory might identify with .That is to say chicken nuggets, sausage rolls and chips are dry and pretty indigestible (especially if not served immediately) whereas desserts like jelly/ ice cream proved popular.

Our family sends heart-felt thanks to you all for your professionalism and dedication to caring for our dad in what was an emotionally challenging time for our family.

Staff are considerate and caring. All levels of staff listen to both residents and their families/partners and act upon complaints and all other issues including health and mental wellbeing.

Under new Management the Nursing Home is thriving. The care my Mother receives, is excellent and the entertain- ment has vastly improved. There is always something going on which is very important for the residents. Well done Parkside.

My husband has resided at Parkview a little over 3 months now with dementia. I waited to give a review until I fully assessed the home. I can honestly say since his first day admission I have not been disappointed in anyway with the above and beyond care he has and continues to be given. All the wonderful staff from management, nurses, carers, activity, receptionist, cleaners are all very professional, competent and friendly, each with smiley faces reassuring residents and family alike. Nothing is ever too much when approached. I think the staff must all be hand picked!. It's such a peace of mind know that one's loved one are being well looked after. The food is adequate with the morning milk shakes a good healthy nutritional plus. The home is currently having some refurbishments, but the radiator covers, and bathrooms could do with updating I guess this comes down to affordability. The most important thing to my mind is the exceptional care and compassion that is provided throughout I can highly recommend Parkview Nursing Care Home and I wish to thank each wonderful hard working member of staff.

Mum is very well looked after at Bridge House, she has a small room with its own toilet, all of which is kept spotlessly clean. Her wardrobe has doors and drawers that don't close properly and I have noted this on in-house reviews 3 times now but nothing has been done. Bridge House has recently been redecorated inside and flooring and soft furnishings have also been renewed very nicely. The food is fresh and varied with a choice of 3 hot dishes a day, sandwiches and soup, fruit and desserts are served later in the day. Mum always has lots of drinks throughout the day and biscuits and cake if she wants it. Birthdays are always celebrated with a huge bakers made cake and lots of congratulations from everyone. Medical attention is excellent and admin is handled quickly and efficiently by phone, email or face to face this is very much an essential service for family or friends who need help or information regarding anything happening at the home.

My only concern so far is missing clothing & shoes which I have reported.

Listed as nursing and dementia care - there is no care. It just about meets the requirements for food and drink - even though most of the time I would do this myself. Residents are forgotten about in their rooms, no activities or stimulation throughout the home. Not secure for dementia care. Reports falsified and residents having falls due to lack of supervision. Decline in physical health due to neglect. Bed sores high risk. Only good thing about the home was the operations manager who left when she realised how awfully the home was being run. New manager is the least caring individual I have ever met. The CQC report shows a fraction of what we see.

My sister has been at this home since 14.5.26 she has been well looked after & cared for all the staff are extremely polite & helpful. Keep up the good work.

My Dad seems to be very happy so I am very pleased.

We have various special events throughout the year, which brings relatives and residents together and brightens up everything. Such as Valentine's, St. Patrick's , Mother's Day, the summer Barbecue all with life music and good food.

My aunt has been for slightly over a month and so far we are all satisfied with level of care.

My last visits were during a spell of very hot weather and the common areas of the building were kept at a comfortable temperature for the residents.

When I first first visited the home the Manger was very welcoming and the staff seemed very friendly. There was a few nurses and carers that was great. And when they were not there it was terrible, there was a few times where my mum was wearing the same clothes the next day, there was times where she smelled, even times where she was really hungry. My mum was on the first floor, entering the lift it smelt terrible walking along the towards mum room the hallway smelt horrible. There was aways 2 male resident shouting for help and no one would look in to see if they were alright. On two occasion a male resident had a black eye. It was frightening to see. In the dining area had to be closed off due to having coach roaches. There was so many things that Me and my family were unhappy with, and when I first told the Manager about my concerns she changed towards me
