Staff are all very good and all marvellous here.
Very pleased with the care and consideration given to my elderly mother. The staff have helped to ensure that she settled into her new surroundings as quickly as possible.
My sister has been a resident for 25 months now. She is very happy at KL. Being very well looked after by the relevant staff and very comfortable in her ensuite room. She enjoys the activities and tries hard to engage with fellow residents. I am very reassured that my sister is in the right place. We don't visit very often, not being resident in Bedford. I do find the Lodge a bit crowded and a rabbit warren though.
I find the staff very helpful and caring. They help whenever needed. My room is very nice and homely and I can go in the garden when I want. Overall I am pleased to be here.
I would say this is a lovely home. Always lots of smiles very clean. And staff are always lovely.
Overall it has been a positive experience. My brother feels comfortable here. It is nice that the staff are mostly the same so that he is used to them and vice versa. Management were very good to change his room to suit his needs. It is key worker seems to have his best interests at heart and it is great that she and the other staff are approachable. It is a good friendly vibe in the lounge.
And we love Daisy the dog that visits also :)
I cannot praise the staff at Kimbolton Lodge enough. Mum has been there a few months now and her care is first-rate. The staff are friendly, cheerful, efficient, helpful and extremely caring. The home is clean and bright, the food is first-rate.
My first visit to see my mum was great. Her room was lovely and bright and mum seemed happy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The initial room was depressing however, the new room is much better. I love the food and I like the staff.
Kimbolton Lodge it will amaze you, the carers there do not phase you. You're looked after just like a star. The care is perfect, way above par With cleaners who do really clean. The shiniest floors you've ever seen. Helpers who will wash and dress and nothing is of too much stress and as for food what can one say. I could eat there every day.
The crae and attention at Kimbolton Lodge is exceptional. All of the staff treat my mother-in-law like she is a member of their own families. They are all so attentive to her needs. She is always very happy with the meals, especially the puddings, as she has a sweet tooth. My mother-in-law says, in her own words, that it is 'wonderful' and she is very 'happy' - you cannot get better feedback than that.
Kimbolton Lodge is so amazingly friendly. It is like one big family in a very caring home. The staff are amazing - so friendly, full of sun and laughter - always caring and always smiling. Love it here - so relaxed and friendly. Everyone is so happy. The carers always make people laugh and do everything they can to make people know that it is a home away from home and it really is because they always go the extra mile.
Highly recommend.
Comfortable room and good food.
Enjoyed my stay and was well looked after.
My relative was treated with great care and dignity and we were very grateful for the kindness shown during their stay.
The level of care for my wife, who has complex medical issues, is outstanding. The staff always treat her with such kindness and compassion. I cannot fault their enduring patience and their expertise. As a family, we always feel so welcome and are informed immediately when my wife required additional medical help. We are forever grateful to Kimbolton Lodge.
My mum has been a resident of Kimbolton Lodge for the last 10 years and both Mum and I feel that they are part of our family. They look after her with love and care, they show a great understanding of her needs and will always treat her with respect and dignity. They also have a wonderful sense of humour and have kept her spirits up during every difficult year.
The care and compassion shown to my mother is outstanding. The level of both emotional and physical support is exemplary and the kindness to both myself and my father is very much appreciated.
My aunt moved here for palliative care during lockdown 3. My cousin and I were treated so welcome when we visited our aunt. We found her in a comfortable, well-equipped room and she had people popping in regularly to check on her. We were allowed to stay as long as we liked and were reassured our aunt was being left in capable, competent and caring hands. Thank you.
