I have been extremely satisfied with the home and staff. The cleanliness and running of the home are excellent. My aunt has always been well looked after in the 6-years she has been in the home.

Overall Experience

From the beginning of March 2020, Kimbolton Lodge put into operation a caring/safe "family bubble". All Government guidelines were followed to the letter, with the physical and mental welfare of all residents a number one priority. When allowed, a variety of links were set up to allow family-resident communication. This includes the building of a purpose-built garden room, to allow "people to people" visits. The staff, under the leadership of the Manager, became a caring, professional team achieving an atmosphere of a secure family in spite of all the adverse challenges.

Overall Experience

My mother has been in Kimbolton Lodge since late May 2019. She has been happy there, and I have been most impressed by the care that they take of her and by their good communication with me: this has been particularly important to me as I live in Scotland. The staff believe strongly that Kimbolton Lodge is now her home and they act accordingly.

My mother resides in this care home, she is most happy there. The staff are wonderful and treat the residents with complete respect. When we visit we are always welcomed and usually get a cup of drink and homemade cake! They have a wonderful lady who does crafts, games etc. with residents to stimulate them. All in all a fantastic place to live and visit.

My biggest complaint is length of time it takes to answer 'call bells' when I need help in the bathroom. (Not enough carers?)
Would like to say that the cleaner is excellent also the activities organiser.

Food varies.
