I was completely satisfied with the attention and care my wife received during the 4 1/2 years she was at Mandeville Grange.

There was always assistance if I wished to take her out in the early days when she was able and a warm welcome on her return. In the later years when she required more attention, it was always there. The Grange was homely with the advantage of being able to give attention generously to all, having less than 30 patients.

Mum is always cared for with the utmost dignity. I have total trust that she is being looked after to the highest of standards that I would as a daughter expect for my mum.

As a family, we are always kept informed of any developments which gives us peace of mind.

My Mother-in-law did not participate in any activities so unable to answer that question. She spent the last nine weeks of her life at Mandeville Grange and we have no complaints at all. All aspects of her care were excellent and all staff very caring. Rooms and facilities were fine, although it would have been nice if residents had their own bathrooms. However, we understand that this is not always possible in older buildings such as Mandeville Grange.

I literally cannot recommend this home and it’s wonderful staff highly enough. I was so scared of putting my father into a home but he was very content for the last two years of his long life here. Any niggles he or we raised were dealt with quickly and he was always cared for exceptionally well - always with the staff going an extra mile. We dropped in unannounced at all times and he was always clean, and always had ‘just been poured’ a drink or just visited. Amazing place. Happy to talk to anyone considering as I know this is such an enormous step to take for your loved ones.

Overall Experience
Mandeville Grange Care Home looked after my father for over 18 months. During this time he was treated as an individual; with respect, dignity and compassion. Although it would be easy to individually thank each member of staff - from the Kitchen staff, nurses, auxiliary staff and management - it would be difficult to fit the list of names on here - so thank you to all of you for making Dad (and us as regular visitors) feel welcome, comfortable and safe.

Kind regards.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Mandeville Grange. They looked after my Father with compassion, respect and genuine care until he passed away last year at the age of 96. They always had a smile, a kind word and a chat when needed. They also always went the extra mile to help the family through the maze of red tape that seems to surround these circumstances. A genuine big thank you to the manager and all of the care team for everything that you did for my father, I know he appreciated it and so do I and the rest of the family.
