Kingsgate Care Home is a newly refurbished 40 bedded Residential Nursing Home for adults 18+.

Respite, daycare, palliative, physically disabled, dementia and mental health.

The three-story detached building has been designed with a modern approach, comprising of private lounges, dining areas, library, aromatherapy room, indoor sensory garden, seaside room, reminiscence room and a family room.

This ensures the care and surroundings are tailored to meet the individual needs of service users providing a comfortable, enjoyable and cared for environment.

Kingsgate offers the finest standard of professional health care with highly trained and experienced staff, and are proud of placing the needs, wishes and decisions of service users at the centre of day to day life.

At Kingsgate, the priority is to make service users feel safe, secure, cared for, welcomed and respected.

The home wants all service users to feel truly at home with a comfortable place to live lots to do fantastic food and in a place where their dignity and privacy is respected at all times.

Kingsgate can now offer a Self Contained Living area for someone who wants to be with their Loved one who needs Extra Care. Extra care Living is made up of self-contained area which has additional support services to help residents live a quality of life together. Nurses and Trained care staff on site 24/7 to provide any care and support that may be needed. This includes 2 rooms, a kitchen and a wet room, 3 freshly homemade cooked meals per day, a laundry service and all your cleaning requirements, residents still have the comfort, security and privacy of their own home.

What a marvellous care home Kingsgate is. My mother-in-law has settled in immediately and has never seemed happier. The staff are wonderful, the food is outstanding and the atmosphere is the same. It is very similar to walking into a hotel.
My mother-in-law is stimulated by the activities coordinator
and has a smile each time I see her, what more could you want?

Kingsgate Care home is providing a wonderful service. My father has vascular dementia and also isn't mobile and the care he is given provides a safe environment. Support for his needs and overall an excellent standard of care. The home is homely, clean, safe and the staff are extremely pleasant and
supportive of the family as well as their residents. I would highly recommend this care provider to families who need similar care.

Very happy with everything. The staff are brilliant. My dad is happy and settled. He always looks clean and tidy. His room is spotless. He is also enjoying the lovely food. He especially likes the activities (ball throwing etc).

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2018

I become the Deputy Manager of Kingsgate Care Home in 2018 and registered as the Registered Manager in January 2024. I have worked in care since 2010 starting out as a care assistant moving on to Senior Care assistant, Training Manager, Deputy Manager. I had lots of opportunities through my time in the care industry and took them with both hands. My passion is caring for others, treating others how I would like to be treated with dignity and respect. I practice an open door policy so anyone can come and talk to me whenever they need to, this is important to me it gives relatives the time and support they also need, supporting them through difficult challenging times is also a priority to me as well as their loved ones.
