I am so pleased that everyone in Kingsgate was Covid-free. It has been very difficult not seeing my husband on a daily basis but I understand. The home felt safe for the residents. Everyone has done their very best to deal with Covid. Can't wait for daily visits to begin again.

As a family, we used the care home as respite care for a few weeks and felt that Mum seemed happy and settled. She was well looked after and cared for. She enjoyed plenty of activities, music and entertainment. The first respite was in 2019, then after a long stay in hospital in 2019 when she was returned back to her home, it was clear Mum could not cope on her own so we knew this would be our choice as a family, this home, Kingsgate, as her new place to live. Mum has been living here since November 2019 and she has improved since, and is looking the best she has done in a long time. A big plus is that Mum can still smoke.

What a marvellous care home Kingsgate is. My mother-in-law has settled in immediately and has never seemed happier. The staff are wonderful, the food is outstanding and the atmosphere is the same. It is very similar to walking into a hotel.

Support for his needs and overall an excellent standard of care. The home is homely, clean, safe and the staff are extremely pleasant and supportive of the family as well as their residents. Very happy with everything. The staff are brilliant. My dad is happy and settled. He always looks clean and tidy. His room is spotless. He is also enjoying the lovely food. He especially likes the activities (ball throwing etc).

We are new to the nursing care home services and have been extremely pleased with the care our father has received.
