Overall Experience
My Wife and I are most impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all the Allenbrook staff. From the first point of contact to current day they understand the needs of my Mother and have unreservedly shown compassion and understanding during what is undoubtedly a difficult time of adjustment, for not only her but also for the family.

There is no doubt their mission is to ensure their residents are happy and settled in their new environment. I have no hesitation in recommending Allenbrook to anyone who finds themselves experiencing such a traumatic change in life circumstance.

When putting my aunt into a care home I was full of apprehension. Allenbrook put all that to rest. They have been more than kind, helpful, considerate and more than any time caring for people who really need it.

My aunt puts it in one phrase "I have joined a small family community." This puts all my worries to one side.

All the staff from managers to cleaners are friendly and helpful. Many have been there for years. They treat the residents with understanding, patience and attention to detail. The amount of entertainment is very good. The food is very good.

Overall Experience

Allenbrook is the best care home ever! My father-in-law was very happy there. He loved the banter with the staff and other residents and enjoyed taking part in the many activities. The staff are all very kind and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make somebody's life happier or more comfortable. The house and gardens are beautiful and well-maintained and residents are encouraged to sit on the sunny, bright terrace so that they may enjoy the views and the stunning flower displays whenever possible. I cannot fault Allenbrook at all and I would certainly recommend it to others.

My father-in-law reached his hundredth birthday and this was largely due to the special care he received at Allenbrook. I am so grateful to all the staff there for making him so happy.

I could not wish for a better care home for my father. The staff made his life a very happy one and after only a couple of weeks there he said that he did not want to go home. What better testament can you get than that. The staff are caring and considerate. They make the residents feel wanted and as if they are in their own homes. The house and grounds are very beautiful and well kept. A great variety of entertainment is available and trips out are regularly available. The meals are very good and varied.

I was extremely pleased with the care my father experienced at Allenbrook and I would readily recommend it to others.

You cannot find a nicer nursing home than Allenbrook. The staff are kind and caring and do everything to make the residents feel welcome and happy - it is a home from home. My father was a resident there for the last three years of his life and he loved it. He loved the entertainments and trips out and he especially enjoyed the banter between staff and residents. He was well taken care of, he always looked neat and tidy and the food was excellent.

The biggest recommendation I can give is that my father was always smiling.
