    There are no restrictions on when and how often residents can receive visitors, the team just ask that visitors are respectful of times when residents may be receiving personal care.


    Visitors are welcome during mealtimes and are welcome to have a meal with their loved ones, please inform the chef in advance so that this can be arranged.


    Residents have the right to refuse to see a visitor, and this right will be respected and upheld by the person in charge.


    If necessary, and the resident would like the team to, the person in charge will inform the visitors of residents wishes.

My father has dementia and has resided at Bury Lodge since June 2014. It is a home from home for him. The staff are caring and supportive and he is always well looked after. The home in clean and well kept. My father is well settled and happy in this environment. The manager is lovely and runs
the home very well.

Vidul

Vidul Mohan

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2022

Vidul Mohan, originally from Kerala, India, qualified as a nurse in 2007 after completing his General Nursing and Midwifery course. He became an NMC-registered nurse in the UK in 2014, following his successful completion of the Overseas Nursing Programme at City University. Vidul further enhanced his qualifications with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People in 2021 and a Level 3 course in HR Support.


Vidul has a robust background in emergency care in India and has extensive experience in elderly and dementia care within the UK. His career in the UK began as a staff nurse on the Isle of Wight, followed by roles in mainland UK care homes, leading to a deputy manager position after demonstrating his leadership and expertise. Vidul joined Numada Healthcare in May 2022 and currently serves as the Registered Manager at Bury Lodge Nursing Home, where he continues to focus on professional development.
