Little Haven offers a warm, friendly environment, renowned locally for high-quality care.

Located just a short stroll from the village of Dibden Purlieu, within easy reach of Hythe and its ferry crossing to Southampton, residents can relax and enjoy the surroundings, safe in the knowledge that they are being cared for by a professional, dedicated team.

Residential, respite, nursing and palliative care is offered, and prospective residents and families are invited to visit the home to take a look around and discuss future plans.

The home offers 41 well-appointed rooms, the majority with en-suite facilities and is split over three floors with lift access to each floor. The en-suite rooms are all light, airy and benefit from stunning views of the gardens, an acre of wood and terraced gardens.

Kitchenettes and laundry facilities are also available for more independent residents.

The home has excellent facilities and communal areas. There is a lounge, a hobbies/movie room, a dining room, a hairdressing salon, a pub, coffee shop area and outside seating in pretty and well-maintained gardens.

A detailed electronic care plan is in place for all residents and is tailored to individual needs, which accords with the ethos and values of providing person-centred care and support for each and every person.

Little Haven has an excellent activity programme which includes a wide range of classes, entertainment and outings.

Little Haven has very good connections with its local community and residents are regularly able to attend local events and lunches.

My mother is very comfortable and settled at Little Haven. Her needs are always attended to. The staff are very welcoming when I arrive. The nursing home always seems very relaxed given the challenges we have all had to face in the last two years. It is great for me to know that mum is happy and content.
I can now visit with ease and we can take mum to various appointments and family events.

My mother has been bedbound for more than two years now. The care staff have been exemplary in keeping her safe and cared for, she is always clean when I visit. She has no way of showing her appreciation but the staff treat her with kindness and respect at all times.

My father was only in Little Haven for the last three weeks of his life receiving palliative care. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and he had a lovely room to himself overlooking the garden. All the staff were so kind and understanding in his final days. We could not have
asked for more excellent.

With my mother having to go into a home, we were very upset that we could no longer look after her but after looking around Little Haven Care Home our minds were immediately put at ease. The carers and members of staff were so friendly and welcoming and now she has been there for nearly a couple of
months, the carers have been really thoughtful to all her needs. Each and every member of staff that work there are amazing and for that, we are extremely grateful and thank them so much. We couldn't have chosen a better home for her.

Our mother was admitted to Little Haven in the final weeks of her life. The manager moved heaven and earth to have her released from hospital in 24 hours once a place became available, showing a stunning level of care and efficiency that was way beyond our expectations. The staff were all extremely
caring and professional and went out of their way to make Mum comfortable. The room was pleasant and quiet and Mum was quite visibly at ease. We are deeply grateful to the whole team at Little Haven, we are so glad that Mum was able to spend her final days with such a wonderful team of caring professionals.

When Mum first came to live at Little Haven she was in very poor shape both physically and mentally and the outlook was not good. But with the superb care she received from the staff she improved beyond all expectations. She would never have been able to return to independent living but she had begun
to enjoy life again. The programme of activities and the attention she received from the staff rejuvenated her mental state such that there was virtually no evidence of dementia, she could hold normal conversations and had a good grasp of current affairs. Sadly, no-one foresaw the massive stroke coming but the care she received in her final days was the best. The staff also cared for us, her family and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you to the kitchen staff for the endless pots of tea and sandwiches as we sat with Mum in her final hours! The whole place feels like one big family and I can't praise them highly enough.
