We recently moved mum into the New Forest Nursing Home and couldn't be more delighted. The whole team made the experience stress free, the staff are so caring and helpful it is a home from home. At 98 mum has started taking more interest in the very varied activities offered. She also very pleased to have had her hair done without having to be taken out. We can't praise the nursing home enough and of course it is in such a lovely setting.

As a family we cannot shout about this care home enough. The staff and management are 100% focused on their residents. The way they have looked after our Mum from the moment she was admitted, until her passing the care they have provided has been truly exceptional. The home is always clean and extremely well maintained. Plenty of space for residents and their visiting families, and definitely not over crowded, with good staff levels at all times. The care and empathy they give towards the patients and ourselves as a family has truly been first class. Providing this standard continually is extremely hard work and the staff should be congratulated on their delivery skills. As for the location, there can be no better place than the New Forest. Highly recommended.

New Forest Nursing Home is an amazing place and we are so lucky to have my mum here! She receives fantastic care and the staff understand her needs and keep her comfortable. During a recent outbreak of norovirus over the xmas period, the staff showed amazing empathy towards relatives and communication (including regular updates_ were both helpful and informative. Eating and drinking have been an issue for my mum but the nursing staff caring nature has helped to persuade her. We cannot fault anyone at the home. Brilliant!

My cousin has only been in NFNH for 3 weeks. I moved him into the home from hospital in Wales to be near me and was rather nervous about how he would adapt. However, he has improved so much as they are taking such good care of him and he is happy and so that makes me happy too. He is well fed, always clean and tidy, clothes washed regularly. The surroundings and gardens are beautiful, his room is large and I cannot find fault with anything. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The home itself is always clean and tidy. He seems to be eating well and enjoying his food. Thank you to all the staff.

Since moving in my Dad has been very happy regularly taking part in the varied activities that are organised in the week which he loves. We couldn't be more happy with my Dad being in such a wonderful home with truly amazing staff. NFNH is very clean, bright and tidy, and has lovely decorations throughout the year, celebrating the seasons and annual occasions. All the staff interact with the residents and it's good to see smiles and chatter between them all.

My Mother is almost 103 years old, blind and very deaf. She lived alone, but after experiencing falls, she and we decided it was time for her to be cared for in a home. She spent 6 weeks in a care home but was very unhappy and so was transferred to the New Forest Nursing Home. She was welcomed warmly, given a lovely light room and has been happy ever since. She has been in the home for approx 18 months. The staff are very kind and caring. It is not easy for them because of her blindness and being deaf, but she has never complained. Her medical needs are looked after well and she says the food is very good. There are regular activities, although Mum does not take part because of her disabilities. The decoration is to a very high standard. We feel blessed to have found such a wonderful home.

She has said how much she is enjoying being there. Particularly as she came from hospital, quite unwell and unsteady on her feet. And her home had begun not to work for her and her independence. She is enjoying the food as well and always mentions there are choices should she not like anything. She has begun to make friends with the residents and staff. A most positive experience for her. It's nice to visit her as a son and not as a carer, so we have benefited too.

You couldn't find fault with the compassion and care which my friend's mum received from the minute she arrived after being discharged from hospital after breaking her hip and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
