St Anne's Nursing Home

I think my uncle is in a very good place, he is happy, he looks good, he is always smiling, he likes the staff and I feel at home there. Even though I don't speak it, there are staff there who speak Polish and that's why he feels good there.

Since my mother moved to St Anne's in March she has been well looked after and treated with kindness and consideration. I have met quite a few staff members over the months and they have all been very friendly and seem interested in all residents and their family and friends.

I am always very pleased with the whole staff performance. They are always so friendly and helpful, they always are so helpful and seem like they cannot do enough for my father-in-law and also the whole family. I feel I can depend on them them for information at any time, day or night. They are also on the end of a phone whenever I need them, I know the care and attention the whole staff give my father-in-law is second to none.

Since my uncle has been at St Anne’s Nursing Home he has been well cared for by all the staff who treat him with respect at all times. The staff always discuss with me any changes to his care and medication. He has never eaten so well! His dementia is getting worse, but the caring staff are very patient and kind to him. He told me that he is with friends and feels safe! I have seen the carers laugh with him and treat him as a friend, not just a resident. Thank you.

My dad has been a resident of St Anne's for just over two years now, after a couple of falls at our family home and a hospital stay meant he could sadly no longer live at home. From the start, the staff have been very caring and sympathetic to not only the needs of my dad, but also to us as a family as well. From the staff on the reception to the cleaning staff, I have always found each member of staff to be helpful and always been greeted with a smile. The home itself is clean and well looked after, with decorations being put up to celebrate different occasions during the year. I haven't been there when food has been served, but I have been present when Dad has been given his choices for the meals ahead and there is a good choice of food. The garden is lovely to sit out in and chat when the weather is good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Anne's to anyone who has to make the decision to go into a nursing home.

We are very happy with the care and support being given to my sister. The home is very welcoming very clean, and will answer any questions or queries. They are very approachable nurses and are very good at giving information when asked. The kitchen staff is great at accepting special food when we bring it in for her.
