From the first time we walked into Cooksditch, to the last time we walked out, all the staff went above and beyond and nothing was to much trouble. My Husband, although only there for 3 weeks, was always treated with warmth and dignity. Thank you

Excellent nursing home, my father is well looked after and cared for.

Building is clean and always smells fresh, my father is happy and I have total confidence in the staff having his health & wellbeing in mind at all times. For residents that are not bedbound there is entertainment laid on weekly, and a wide varity of food is available.

My mother spent 6 happy years as a resident. Sadly she passed away 3 days before Christmas. Her terminal care was amazing. The staff were caring and considerate. When we left it was like leaving an extension of my family.

Our close and much loved friend sadly suffered a catastrophic stroke aged only 60 years. She was cared for at Cooksditch House for several weeks. We visited regularly, unannounced and were extremely impressed with the care she received. The areas were always orderly and clean and she always looked clean and well cared for in fresh bed linen. The staff were always welcoming and friendly and were compassionate and caring.

The care provided to my wife since she arrived at Cooksditch House Nursing home has been exceptional. The nursing, care and support staff deserve special mention because the atmosphere is always positive and most staff seem to actively enjoy their work at the same time as being extremely professional, well-trained, well-coordinated as a team, and sensitive to the particular needs and characteristics of individual residents. My wife's room is a good size and we have really appreciated the opportunity to personalise it with pictures, furniture and other familiar belongings from home.

My mum moved to Cooksditch House from early 2022 until April 2024. During this time members of the family visited often.
We all spoke to her regularly by telephone - thank you for chasing her around the building with the wireless 'phone when she was not where she should have been!
I think I can speak for all of our family. The reception by your staff whether in person or by telephone was always friendly and respectful. My Mother had a happy experience which I cannot fault, a nursing home is never going to be the same as living under one's own roof - but Cooksditch comes very close. A combination of gentle care with a communal atmosphere of family. In 2023, Mum was transferred to the medical side after a number of health problems. This change was handled by your carers with thoughtful attention - the residential staff maintained contact and she often visited the residential wing to see her house mates.

Thank you all.

I had heard about how well looked after my friends relative had been at Cooksditch so when my mum needed care we were lucky enough to get her a place. I can not fault the care she receives, the staff are without exception excellent, professional and kind. The sign in reception reads, our residents don't live in our workspace, we live in their home. The food is lovely with daily baked fresh cakes. The routine is flexible to mums needs. I don't think she could be any better looked after. I can not recommend Cooksditch highly enough.

On my husband's arrival, he was treated with care, consideration, and respect. He has been in here for a short while now, and to date, I have been extremely happy with all the staff members that have attended to him (he's not the easiest of people to please!). I as his wife have been kept informed and they have listened and acted on my advice. From the minute you are let in, via the reception, you are greeted with genuine 'welcome' and a lovely feeling of calm. This feeling continues through the visit, enabled by everyone you meet. Everywhere is clean and fresh which in this type of environment is a pleasant change. Everyone is deserving of a very well done! And most important, my husband is happy.
