Appointed Head of Services in September 2025, Pete Bowley is a key member of the Senior Management Team at Crownwood Healthcare Group. Working closely with Gill and Mitesh, Pete plays a central role in shaping how services are delivered across the organisation, supporting seamless operations, championing best practice, and driving continuous improvement in every home and service line. Pete’s journey with Crownwood began in 2015, following his earlier years at Temple Ewell Nursing Home starting in 2010. From his first role as a Healthcare Assistant through to Nursing Associate, Deputy Manager (2017–2022), and later Training and Technical Manager (2022–2025), Pete has built a career grounded in compassion, capability, and a deep commitment to quality care. What truly sets Pete apart is his passion, for people, learning, and service excellence. He is dedicated to empowering staff at every level, ensuring they have the training, technical support, and confidence to deliver outstanding care. Even in his senior leadership position, Pete remains hands-on with group-wide training and continues to be a go-to source of guidance for teams across the organisation. Modern in his approach and driven by a belief that great care starts with great people, Pete brings energy, experience, and a forward-thinking mindset to Crownwood Healthcare. His leadership remains a vital part of ensuring the Group continues to operate at its very best.
Matthew joined the Temple Ewell team in January 2023, Matthew has a wealth of experience and a passion for EOL and Dementia Care, Matthew is always looking for ways to better improve and enrich the lives of our residents Matthew is looking forward to taking Temple Ewell forward ensuring the home offers the highest standard of nursing care and continuing to make improvements to the facilities at Temple Ewell.
Kathy has been at Temple Ewell since December 2015. She joined Temple Ewell as a Staff Nurse and was promoted to Clinical Manager in April 2017. Kathy has been a qualified nurse for over 30 years, working in both community and hospital settings. She has been able to bring her vast experience to the Home, to enhance practice and help to enrich the lives of our staff and residents. Kathy is also our student nurse mentor, supporting two students during term times. Kathy is a passionate and empathetic nurse who demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of our residents.
