On approaching Westbank we were delighted to see the beautifully maintained, spacious grounds which contribute to an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The attractive building is well designed for its purpose. The front door opens onto a welcoming foyer which leads into the homely open plan dining room and lounge. Particularly relaxing is the conservatory which has views out onto the garden. The bedrooms are comfortable, clean and well furnished, as is the rest of the home.
Senior staff are extensively knowledgeable and encourage high standards throughout. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for the carers and they try hard to accommodate my mother's individual needs. Kitchen staff endeavour to cater for her personal tastes and the nursing staff are conscientious in their responsibilities. I feel confident that my mother is being well cared for. It is a pleasure to visit her in the home; I am always made to feel welcome and valued as part of the community.
