My mother has been a resident since 07/25. The staff are so considerate, nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum was 6.5 stone on admission. She's now nearly 7.8 stone. She has thrived since being a resident. There are a lot of opportunities to join in exercises, bingo, and we watch Lingo on TV together, which provides some mental stimulation. Mum is now eating properly, her diabetes is being managed, and she is happy.

My husband has very complex needs and has 1 to 1 24hour care. I have found all the staff very qualified caring and friendly. I stay with my husband every day and all the staff are very kind to myself and my family. They offer 2 choices for lunch and many times we're asked if we would like tea and coffee, always with biscuits. They are very easy to chat with really helps me in this difficult situation. The home is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. The gardens are kept very well. They are many activities happening most days, but I'm afraid I am not interested in these.
The carers and nurses always include me in discussions about my husband's medical needs and comfort. If I ring in the night, they are very generous with their time.

Overall, I am very happy with the care taken for my husband and my own well-being.

We chose Meadow View for my mum to have a week's respite so I could have a week away. Halfway through that week, she didn't want to go home. It's like a home from home, and we have all been made to feel welcome when we visit. The standard of care, food, and cleanliness is all to a very high standard.

My father went to Meadow View Nursing Home straight from hospital at the beginning of April 2025. He settled very quickly and was happy. The staff are all excellent and take very good care of my dad. He has quite complex needs as he suffers from Parkinson's and dementia. I like the home because it's small and feels like a family. The staff always make me feel very welcome.

I have spent 3 weeks on respite care after major surgery, so the nursing care was most important for me. That has been excellent. All the staff have been friendly and attentive.

Since my nan arrived it's given her a new lease of life. She is always clean and tidy. The home is always tidy and the staff are amazing. They are always doing things with the residents including visits to the garden centre. It was a difficult decision to make on putting my nan in a home but it's a decision we are all so glad we made.

My husband was admitted as an emergency. The staff were helpful, sympathetic and efficient. He has since been well cared for with all the multiple needs cared for. He has never once said he wanted to come home which I think speaks for itself.

The care staff are extremely attentive and obliging to all the resident's needs. They have an excellent relationship with the residents and they go above and beyond to assist and care for individual requirements.
There are great social events on the daily programmes which Mum participates in, something she did not do at first.
The care home is always clean and tidy and Mum always looks nicely dressed.

The management are polite and are approachable should we need to discuss anything to do with Mum's welfare.

I've noticed an improvement in my dad's mental health since he's been at Meadow View. His physical health is also much better than expected due to the care and attention of the staff and doctors. It's reassuring g to know that he's in good hands. Considering he never wanted to leave his own home, he seems happy and settled.

From the first day of arrival at Meadow View Nursing Home, we, as loving members of his family were so relieved to be greeted by several welcoming smiling faces. Any concerns that we may have contemplated prior to arrival, were soon put aside. Our much-loved relative is settled in a considerably kind, caring environment, for which we are so grateful.

From the day my mother went into Meadow View, the staff have been kind, caring and very friendly. I cannot find one thing that I am not happy with concerning the care my mother is receiving. The staff always deal with any problems straight away.

My wife is certainly happier and more talkative since the kitchen started purifying her food. Because at one time, she was eating nothing and saying very little. I thank them for that. From my point of view, it makes communicating much better, albeit at times very muddled.

When we were told Mum would go to Meadow View we were all apprehensive. But from the 1st arrival of the ambulance bringing Mum it has been the most caring, happy and understanding staff we could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble, it's warm and cosy and a very happy place. Wonderful.

My mum has been a resident at Meadow View for the past 15 months and I have always found the carers helpful, welcoming, and happy to answer any questions. The carers are attentive and address Mum's needs especially with food preparation when eating became a struggle for her. They also encourage Mum to get involved in daily activities around the home.

My sister has been at Meadow View since 2015, and in all that time we have never had cause to complain or even question the care she receives. The whole team is efficient caring and friendly both to residents and visitors and ensures the dignity of the residents is assured. She's as happy as we have ever seen her.

I can only commend the team including the management for keeping my sister and other residents safe in the way they handled things through covid, well done to all of you.

My husband has been a resident for almost 2 1/2 years and although it took a while due to his mental health issues he does now seem settled. The staff are friendly and caring towards my husband and myself and deal with his behaviours in a positive and reassuring way and although he doesn't want to join in most activities he does enjoy the music sessions. Thank you to everyone for your continued care and support for both of us.

Mum has high needs through dementia. She moved to Meadow View in June 2023 after seven years in another home. The changes were immediate and refreshing. She spends more time with other residents, eats more readily and seems more content. It's hard to explain, our mum can't communicate verbally, but she just seems happier. I couldn't be more pleased.
