The staff are friendly and very helpful. The care my mum receives is second to none. The attitude of the staff is always so positive. My mum was very worried about coming into a care home, after the first week, she feels very comfortable and relaxed. She loves the food, living at home she wasn't eating much, now she eats everything.

As a registered nurse I could not fault the care Meadow View staff gave to my mother-in-law. From the day I turned up unannounced to view it as a one of a shortlist of homes they were kind, welcoming and professional. Without exception staff were kind and considerate to my mother-in-law, making the last 10 months of her life much easier for her and for her family. Thank you.

Mum has 24hour nursing care; her needs met by the staff team who know and look after her many disabilities. Two-way communications always open between myself and staff/management. Our family's wishes respected and questions answered. Homely, comfortable and friendly. Meadow View, and its staff, are good-humoured and kind; a happy home for residents.

I found the home to be very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and were always there when needed. My mother has nothing but praise for the home. Myself and the rest of the family can feel very assured that she is in a safe place and cared for in a very professional manner.

My wife has been a resident at Meadow View for 18 months. During that time, I have become more and more appreciative of the work of the care team, from nursing to caring, from management to visitor welcome. Such is the ethos of care at Meadow View that there is a strong integration of team spirit and a will to serve and to reflect the highest principles of this noble profession.

I have been active at Meadow View in the care of my wife with a willingness to spend time with her, to feed and comfort her in support of the care team. During the time spent here, I have been made so very welcome and made many friends in the team. It is a delight to know that care at this level is not just for physical bodily care, but for the mind and spirit too. The gentleness and understanding that flows from this care philosophy, translates into a sense of family, of unity and of giving that transcends anything in my experience. In my hours here, I have found a whole new respect for the care industry.

My mum moved here after a stay in hospital and was no longer to live on her own due to having more care needs. The home is really homely and warm. My mum has her own room which looks out over the garden, which is really nice. The staff are amazing and so friendly. They make you feel very welcome. During this lockdown they keep you updated with news etc via FaceBook. You can ring anytime day or night to see how your family members are doing! The food they have is also fantastic and you can have a meal with your relative just give them notice. Can't wait to have a belated mother's day meal with my mum. Meadow View is situated in a lovely village, they have a small village shop and a pub! Again the staff go out of their way to make the residents feel loved and cared for. They have activities and days out. Barbecues in the garden when it's nice weather. I would definitely recommend this home to others and it gives you peace of mind that they are very well looked after.

Can’t praise all the staff enough for how they are looking after my mother-in-law who has been at Meadow View for almost 2-years. The lockdown has been really difficult, but they have allowed us to keep in touch by phone and FaceTime whenever we wanted to. They are always very attentive, cheerful and professional. Well done.

My mum has been a resident for the past 3-years, and I have nothing but praise for the care she has received. She has multiple health issues, and they are all addressed with great care and respect.
The staff are very friendly and always on hand if you need to speak to them. The home is always clean, and the rooms are spacious.

During the COVID pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to make sure the residents have all remained COVID free.

Highly recommended. We moved dad in reluctantly as we could not cope with the level of care he required at home. The staff were welcoming to all of us and sensitive to his needs. The room is spacious and clean, overlooking the garden and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the home went into lockdown four days into the move but we are able to call for updates, sometimes speak if he is able. We are kept informed of progress and feel he is well looked after. Thanks to the staff for making an efficient transition at this difficult time.

My mother-in-law has only been at the home just over a week. The staff are fantastic, they can't do enough for her, so friendly. They keep you up to date on her needs and health. The room is really good, nice and light and a really comfortable chair and bed. Lovely view from her window. Over all very good.
