Situated in the peaceful village of Standlake, just a few miles from Witney in Oxfordshire, Meadow View Nursing Home is set in gardens and grounds amounting to nearly 5 acres, backing onto open countryside.

There is accommodation for up to 33 residents. All of the rooms are situated on the ground floor and are for single occupancy. There are double rooms available for couples if desired. Most of the rooms also have their own access to the Nursing Home grounds and several are en-suite with personal toilet and shower room.

Meadow View has a team of qualified, friendly staff dedicated to providing nursing care 24 hours a day. All staff are committed to providing the highest standard of care.

I found the home to be very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and were always there when needed. My mother has nothing but praise for the home. Myself and the rest of the family can feel very assured that she is in a safe place and cared for in a very professional manner.

This care home has looked after my mother for the past 8 months now and she has no complaints at all. My mother has vascular dementia and the staff have always met her needs with great care and dignity. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional at all times. My wife has been a resident at Meadow View for 18 months. During that time, I have become more and more appreciative of the work of the care team, from nursing to caring, from management to visitor welcome. Such is the ethos of care at Meadow View that there is a strong integration of team spirit and
a will to serve and to reflect the highest principles of this noble profession.
I have been active at Meadow View in the care of my wife with a willingness to spend time with her, to feed and comfort her in support of the care team. During the time spent here, I have been made so very welcome and made many friends in the team. It is a delight to know that care at this level is not just for physical bodily care, but for the mind and spirit too. The gentleness and understanding that flows from this care philosophy, translates into a sense of family, of unity and of giving that transcends anything in my experience. In my hours here, I have found a whole new respect for the care industry.

My mum moved here after a stay in hospital and was no longer to live on her own due to having more care needs. The home is really homely and warm. My mum has her own room which looks out over the garden, which is really nice. The staff are amazing and so friendly. They make you feel very welcome. During
this lockdown they keep you updated with news etc via FaceBook. You can ring anytime day or night to see how your family members are doing! The food they have is also fantastic and you can have a meal with your relative just give them notice. Can't wait to have a belated mother's day meal with my mum. Meadow View is situated in a lovely village, they have a small village shop and a pub! Again the staff go out of their way to make the residents feel loved and cared for. They have activities and days out. Barbecues in the garden when it's nice weather. I would definitely recommend this home to others and it gives you peace of mind that they are very well looked after.

Can’t praise all the staff enough for how they are looking after my mother-in-law who has been at Meadow View for almost 2-years. The lockdown has been really difficult, but they have allowed us to keep in touch by phone and FaceTime whenever we wanted to. They are always very attentive, cheerful and

My mum has been a resident for the past 3-years, and I have nothing but praise for the care she has received. She has multiple health issues, and they are all addressed with great care and respect.
The staff are very friendly and always on hand if you need to speak to them. The home is always clean,
and the rooms are spacious.
During the COVID pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to make sure the residents have all remained COVID free.

Highly recommended. We moved dad in reluctantly as we could not cope with the level of care he required at home. The staff were welcoming to all of us and sensitive to his needs. The room is spacious and clean, overlooking the garden and pleasant.
Unfortunately, the home went into lockdown four days
into the move but we are able to call for updates, sometimes speak if he is able. We are kept informed of progress and feel he is well looked after. Thanks to the staff for making an efficient transition at this difficult time.

My mother-in-law has only been at the home just over a week. The staff are fantastic, they can't do enough for her, so friendly. They keep you up to date on her needs and health. The room is really good, nice and light and a really comfortable chair and bed. Lovely view from her window. Over all very
